Not a fan of that COD logo but for the mouse it's a good price.

you can buy covers off ebay if it really affects you.

      3 for $10 from memory

  • I bought one last sale, using it with out any cover its pretty awesome. I didnt really like either of the covers tho, but without any its just the perfect size

I have purchased lots of mouses through Ozbargain, I prefer this mouse the most!

  • not a bad mouse got it last time I think when it was 49.95 or so

$43 for the G300 is not a good price at all.

$29 at MSY or $32 at PC Case Gear.

G9x mouse got shorted cable problem. Don't buy it will not last longer.
    Search on google.

And catchoftheday will not refund your money even if it's under 12 months.

    • What are you doing to your mice that causes the cable to break down. I have about five of these mice on various computers, have used them every day for years, and never had a problem. They're brilliant mice.

  • Picked one up this time. Going to sand the logo off with some wet n dry.

I got this in last October with a Keyboard set for $65 delivered from CoTD.
Much better deal then imho as I sold the keyboard for $35 to someone that needed one.

But for this laser mouse alone… I CAN say it's worth it as…. I really like the smooth feel of the movements and the size fits my palm quite nicely… (a little re-adjusting needed from my fat old gaming MX518 and then its updated brother) but I love this G9x now!

It feels precise when playing FPS games (as should all laser mice), scrolls feels a bit loose but it has clicks when I like however, middle button is quite hard to depress.
LED lights are pretty cool! I'll change the colour once in a while just for a new look!
This mouse uses the Logitech Gaming software (rather than Setpoint) which combines quite nicely with my Logitech g930 Wireless Gaming Headset(ie no need for extra software to load).
Internal memory for DPI settings are very handy when using the mouse on different computers!
Detachable weights is just an extra which I don't use as any extra weight makes it feel too heavy for my tastes anyways.

I really didn't care less about CoD cover… the other extra slim cover included was too slim for me. The only thing to note is, the cover is feeling a bit loose now… I may just buy an eBay cover when it starts to annoy me.

Hope this helps someone whose considering to get this.

that MW3 stamp on it is why it isnt selling.

  • got this last COTD sale, great mousr!
love this with photoshopping work, very smooth and precise.

cons: scroll wheel a little to firm to depress and side buttons too far back - gives me a bit of thumb yoga I guess :)

  • Looks to be sold out!
