Flingshot had cheaper ones with USB 3.0 speed. But different brand.

    edit:

Note that it is out of stock now but they always seem to restock quick.

Ummm they are Verbatim flash drives. You think Verbatim is an unknown brand?.

You can buy Verbatim flash drives at Big W.

lol unknown brand? you're joking right? Yes not as popular as SanDisk when it comes to flash memory but Verbatim has been there for a loooong time.

5.25" and before that, magnetic tape…

Pardon me. You are correct….. I know USB 3 is better than USB 2. Anyway this is the cheapest deal I found for this with free delivery.
        Cheers…..

    • not really USB 3 speeds though, 10MB/s write no record breaker

      • +5

        Sure beats 2MB/s

just tried to order one and it says cannot process Paypal payments at moment

    • -6

good to try again some time later

    • +2

Has Orange IT's paypal account become limited?. Not so good when a business can't take payments. Any other people other than peter296 having problems buying from Orange IT through paypal?.

didn't these guys close up shop?

    yep, they did.

According to that thread Orange IT is in external administration

    • +2

So it might be wise not to buy from them.

    • +4

Might just give this a miss then :)

    • There is nothing on the website to acknowledge that the company is under administration.
Therefore, the website is probably dated/inactive.

or possibly even breaking the law

This deal deserves a big fat Neg

    1. As mentioned above it appears the company is in Administration.

    2. The USB drive is too slow for it to be a good deal unless it drops a few more dollars.

    3. Just because Office Works is $17 odd does not make something a good deal.

    4. Using shopping.com.au for comparison is just ridiculous, seriously when's the last time anyone found a bargain on there.

Agreed, that fact could turn this into a right debacle.

    • could turn this into a right debacle

I doubt it, the price isn't that good…

Well, at least one person here has attempted to order…only to be saved by a paypal issue…and that's just the person who cared to comment.

OP sure has been busy with posting 29 deals in the past couple of days.

      30 within a week…

      • +2

Oh yeah one was a duplicate though so is 29.

        • Oops… my bad…

  • I have moved the deal to the forum and removed the link as it seems like a bad idea ordering from a company in administration. I highly recommend everyone who did order to cancel their order/call their credit card company.

Also, please refrain from attacking or accusing any user. Use the report button.

  • I would not waste my money and time on a company that has just gone under

  • gosh i thought orangeIT has good business…
the news said cant compete with jbhf, but they are not direct competitor, right?> this shop sells pc component ie internal hdd case motherboards.. jbhf doesnt sell those stuffs..

    • they also sell laptops, headphones, keyboards, etc

  • @erwinsie- the OrangeIT store in North Sydney closed just before JB HiFi opened up a store about 5 doors away from them. It's hard to say how much this would have affected their business, but we'll never know……..

    • if they try to sell the same stuffs like what jbhf ofcourse they will go down. the competitor should be msy not jbhf

probably not many people using desktop anymore therefore…

@winta: something wrong with your transaction, i bought from them 2x but in the actual shop, all good. they were one of the biggest shops in capitol square i think at one time they had 2 shops in the building. rent must be high and they cant cover it.

  • I bought something from OrangeIT about a year ago. It never arrived and they never responded to my emails. They have no phone. This site is a con. Don't buy from here.
