Didn't I buy this for $11 from MSY a couple of weeks back? (Still sitting in cupboard)

    • Yeah staticice is around $40-$50, I admit not a big discount.

Best wireless router I've ever bought, after installing DD-WRT on it. It's replaced my HTPC as a full-time file server, as well as my print server AND replaced my Wireless router with even better reception and longer range.

Had to change all my partitions from NTFS to ext3 though, for better file transfer rates. Blows having a windows server out of the water!

Got this for $11 from MSY a couple of weeks ago.

    Working good.

Same here. More stable and more features than my other non-DDWRT router, probably because of more RAM. Best $11 spend.

    pointless: only 10/100 Ports

its good for creating a client bridge for extending wifi range. i installed DD-WRT to do this and happy to get excellent wifi coverage.

Did the exact same thing. Though I don't even know how to tell which AP I'm connected to lol.

    • Slightly OT, but do you find DD-WRT gives better range/WiFi stability over stock?

      • i think its much stable. might very device to device. to some extend u have control over tx power and antenna gain. so u can extend range. i tried with 7db antenna and able to extend range. to see the range i use android apps, called wifi analyser.

      • Absolutely better range and speed on DD-WRT than on stock firmware. Flash as soon as you unbox it :)

        • what about the hotspot ! create own hotspot. so that guest can easily use ur wifi. dd-wrt champ.

        • Lol, that's what I did (flashed as soon as I unboxed it).
So I have no idea if I have better range than non DD-WRT :)

  • Page not found and can't find the product using search on the DSE page. :( guess it's gone now
