    Can't say I like this one, it seems poorly designed. Never turns off, the user guide says "The unit will automatically switch into the indoor temperature & humidity display mode after one minute of no-use" and "If the product is not going to be used for an extended period of time please remove the battery".

    Hi russ. This unit we have i can guarantee you that it will not do that. The initial models were like that but the new models and the fresh stock we have received just recently will automatically turn off .You do not have to take out the battery.

    Also, we only have a few left so get in quick at this price.

      Ordered mine yesterday and received it today. Thanks for the quick delivery.

      I'm disappointed to say that the unit does not switch off at all. I've left it for 4 hours and it is still showing the indoor temperature and humidity.

        Got mine today too.I don't mine the shape, nice case but it doesn't switch completely off. I don't think this would be a problem though as temperature and humidity monitors last forever with one battery

      Received mine and also found out that the gadgetcity guarantee that it will automatically turn off is BS.

      No way to know how much of an issue it is until the first battery dies. Probably no a big deal, but I really don't appreciate being fed crap.

    Just bought a chinese one from dealextreme for $7.50 delivered. Seems to work ok, varies by up to 0.3 of a degree. Instructions say that if you take an average you are getting the best measurement, but I have little to no experience with these. Also the battery it shipped with is a bit old so could be making a difference.
