Has anyone else not received Injustice: Gods Among Us from this deal yet?
The boxers arrived within 5 days of dispatch but I'm still waiting on the game which was dispatched on the 16th of April. Normally I wouldn't worry but I also had a copy of Metal Gear RR go missing which I ordered a couple of weeks before this (from thehut though, not Zavvi) They did replace the game and it arrived within two weeks but I was wondering how common this is getting now?
I waited 30 days. Zavvi/thehut are a joke nowadays. Once upon a time they were slow, nowadays they are totally unreliable.
I ordered 6 skylanders figure and lego city WiiU from zavvi 2 months ago, they all send by tracked mail, and arrived after 23 days, which is quite slow and still endurable for me.
The mail is only tracked within the UK and to be honest I'm not sure how reliable even that is.
A bit unrelated, but I ordered clothing off them (Shipped to NZ) and got it within 8 days (14th - 22nd). So it can be reliable at least, never ordered games though, no need to.
Clothes seem fine in my experience as well. It's the deals with small margins I think they are dodgy with.
I ordered 3 items of clothing. 2 arrived together and one was missing. I was told they were all shipped in the same package. Extremely strange. Waiting for my refund to be cleared now.
damn I preordered beyond two souls and kingdom hearts from zavvi because they're cheaper and there was a voucher code. am I in trouble?
Hit and miss henri, I just received Wonderbook for PS3 which I posted a couple weeks back (around $19) in a decent time
I have never preordered from them but never have any problems from other purchases. hopefully it's the same for preorder.
I haven't until recently either. They just seem to be getting worse though. I didn't receive my Tombraider from them nor did a mate. A friend's Dead Island has also gone missing.
Between the three of us we've had 3 items go missing out of 4.
Well my two games that went missing were preorders.
now you make me worried. both games I preordered only available before release date..if they cancel both of them, I'll be pissed
When did this happen? Have they resolved this issue by sending you another one? My missing order was a pre-order as well.
Yes, I have now received one replacement, the other is still on the way, about 10 days in.
Nearly everything I have ordered from both took about 3 weeks, had about 6 orders in total. Mostly really reduced jeans and tshirts.
Still waiting on the replacement copy of Injustice. I have a feeling its a no-show again. So disappointing, I've lost all confidence in Zavvi/TheHut. I'm not even checking their prices anymore when trawling the net for stuff I want from the UK. They are just too unreliable at this time.
My order was a now-show as well. They have lost 1 customer. It is impossible to have both original and replacement order not to arrive.
Event their tracking website is from The Hut as well so it might as well be rigged. Well so much for looking at my mailbox to see if my order arrived. I am not looking at Zavvi anymore.
Still waiting for my underpants. I had to go commando for the last 3 weeks.

So I just discovered (I didn't open it for a month while waiting for a mate to rectify his lost order issues of the same game) that my Dead Island Riptide didn't come with the DLC they promised.
based on looking at all of your comments, I have canceled my preorder games at zavvi, better do it on ozgameshop
its a little sad, but i spent $13 something on a copy of syndicate on 360, took two months of waiting for the game, then a refund to get my money back via paypal, I know they dont care, but $13 has lost them a customer (unless its a really good deal, but even then maybe…)
Ok, as a first time poster , I'll have some input into this .
I became a member of both Zavvi & the Hut in around September last year . My experiences with receiving orders for games ( PS3 games pretty much exclusively ) , was generally excellent , as I would received most of my orders within about two weeks .
Then in about mid-late March things started to go pear-shaped . I ordered both Metal Gear Rising and Dishonored and both went missing - from the Hut . I had to wait 30 days , only then to fill out a missing claims form which the Hut asked me to resend after about a week where they claimed they never recevied it . They refunded me eventually for Dishonored & Metal Gear rising was re-sent , but that never arrived either , and I went thru the process again - at their request . This time the money was refunded , and arrived in my account last Friday - nearly ELEVEN weeks after the original orders took place . I have chosen not to order from the Hut since then . Their loss .
I also had a similar experience with Zavvi where both Assassin's Creed III and the new Devil May Cry 5 went missing , two sepearate orders . Same deal , please fill out a form . They were a lot easier to deal with in terms of the refund , and didn't give me any grief , other than the items not arriving . I still order from Zavvi today , but I am less inclined to do so as the postal service or whatever they use cannot be fully trusted . Additonially , both Zavvi and the Hut have less than useless tracking systems .
I'm not sure why this is happening , I have this theory that if it's really popular new release ( ie. the four which I have mentioned ) then I think their 'stock pick' jockeys are actually marking the items as being sent before the items are geting picked off the shelves - if in fact they are . If it's one of their clearance items , you'll get it pretty quickly - provided it's in stock of course . You can get those e-mails that state that they are sorry the items have not been shipped , there's actually a good chance that you can kiss your order goodbye and you'll be filling out paperwork after waiting 30 days . If this is the case , and I am not the only one with this problem , then both 'companies' stand to lose a ton of business.
I've also read numerous reviews online about their shipping services to UK customers , and it's happening to them too .
Better to shop on OzGameShop if you can . I hear nothing but good things there .

I had ordered RipTide from Zavvi which the expected delivery date was May 16 but still not here. How many days after the expected delivery date did you wait before asking Zavvi where is your order? In the email they sent me, they said to wait for 20 days before you complain.
