    • Holy shit 9 have sold.

      • LOL, apparently they only paid the 10% of the asking price :P and got delivered hahah

        • I think they accidentally added a "0". Although sometimes people crank up their prices if they think someone is watching a product, hoping they won't notice when they finally decide to purchase.

    • 9 sold lol

    • I was gonna say Stax SR-009 .. but damnn these philips look like a bargain pair.

  • I bought these last time. Great clarity for electro and dance tunes, but horrible for punk, metal and hardcore as it just can't seem to cope with certain guitar tones i.e. plenty of crackle.

    • try keeping your volume slider at the highest setting and adjust on the device I read that this eliminates the crackling from the manual resistance shifter.

These have been listed at this price by this eBay seller for at least a few weeks now. Hundreds sold in both colours.

I bought the brown and black, and a little disappointed with the sound so far. Low volume and not much depth. Hopefully they'll improve with some breaking in.

and very uncomfortable. the headphones are pretty heavy too compared to hd650.

      • Lies, You have never tried these.

These are the most comfortable cans in existence. In the 200-300 range anyway.

Hundreds of reviews say the same thing. Nobody has ever said they were uncomfortable. Comfort is pretty much their biggest asset. You can wear them for hours without issue.
They feel like your wearing clouds. They are not heavy.

Great cans, I got a pair last time.

I beg to differ, AKG K701, Beyerdynamic DT770/880/990

        • correction. ONE OF the most comfortable.

        • lol

lies? i have them and use them in the office everyday.

          They are not comfortable.

kid, try some expensive headphones before accusing others liars.

        • Kid? don't make me smack your bottom, child.

          I own a pair of TMA1's. shh

        • And you bought a pair of these? Or even asking basics about an amp? Stop digging the hole deeper.

        • Heh amateur.

The citiscapes are awesome daily drivers.

Unbelievably comfortable & really decent range for the price.

Amp was in regards to THESE headphones and how they perform, not what an amp does. I don't know how far these 40mm drivers could go using an amp, I haven't tried it.
Your such an epic audiophile dude, no really. Must make you sick hearing people talk about audio gear, being pro and all. All that misinformation. Feel for you bro.

How are your Beats going btw? epic bass, yeah?

        • Don't cry for me Argentina.

How are your Beats going btw? epic bass, yeah?
Will let you know once i replace my apple earbuds.

        • I rate the sound and comfort over Dt770's (yes I own both).
          Crap volume slider, recable required.

        • lol

  • isnt it a dupe?????

  • Bought these headphones a couple of weeks ago in the light brown and beige. Can't go wrong for $60! These headphones sound and are constructed better than some in the $150 range. What a lot of people say is true, the volume is a little low on these. The Music Seal (i think it's memory foam pads) work extremely well! So i guess that compensates for the lack of volume from the drivers.

A few later after I got these headphones, I decided make a DIY headphone amp and WOW HUGE difference!! Now these headphones sound like they're worth around the $200 Range. If you have some soldering skills I recommend getting one of these Cmoy 3channel amp. Apparently they perform similarly to a $400 Grado headphone amp for around $50.

  • Do you find the clarity is better with an amp?
What is the main diff using an amp.

I have heard reviews say amps did nothing. Interested in your opinion. Based off your comment, sounds like a massive difference.

    • I find amps help most decent cans.

    • I found with these headphones that they have pretty decent bass and decent detailed highs. But nothing else in the middle. I'm using my old school iRiver H340 where there is a dedicated LineOUT. The results after connecting it to an amp and these headphones… pretty amazing. Suddenly, the mids come through, vocals are much more pronounced and overall, the bass and highs are much more convincing/confident. I'm not an audiophile by any stretch, but I know what sounds good to me. The amp does make a huge difference. Well worth the $40 for the DIY amp.

  • About to buy a pair seeing as they're only $60 but one question, does this guys ad fail or what. No pictures what so ever for any of the stuff he is selling, whats up with that?

Anyone buy from this guy before, if so how was your experience? I know he has good ratings but his ads look suss and very unprofessional

    • Looks like his pictures have expired, but there were plenty before.
Mine was delivered within a few days with no problems.

    • i bought from this company too. delivery was quick in. no issue with them at all.

  • Ahh okay, just bought. Does this company go on Ozbargain? Pictures are back now lol
Hope I get it quick too

  • Arrived and if anyone cares, right off the bat the packaging was very nice but my god it took me a while to figure out how to get it out from the packaging and had to watch a Youtube unboxing video to figure it out lol. The fettucini like cord was stuck to the box and was worried it would rip if I yanked it any harder. Easy if you rip the box then it'd come out very easy but wanted it intact incase I needed to return it. Packaging in terms of neatness and firmness I give it an a+, in terms of taking out I give it a huge thumbs down

Sound right off the box is a little low but 3/4 volume and its fine. No bass, its there somewhat but you dont get the thumping which is fair enough since its not what they were made for. Leakage, have yet to test out but when they arent on my ears it leaks alot. These have THE softest padding EVER, softest I've ever owned I mean wow and I find them pretty comfortable. The cord is very short and anyone over 190cm will have a hard time putting this in their pockets without having to hunch down I reckon.
