Still very happy with the AKG N9 from previous deals at JB. Been using it exclusively, so the XM4 itch has been satiated.
Out of curiosity - how many people have received it as already opened? I see reports saying that this is just excess stock being sold off as box damaged or open boxed?

I bought box damaged and it was brand new seal pack no damage box
I think they do this to avoid drama with resellers
Sony employ the most careless warehouse workers, damaging hundreds or thousands of boxes each year.
Given the way manufacturing works, off machine lines and into packing cardboard, it is nearly impossible to "box damage" so many products each year.
