We completely understand about finding quality products so that they are strong and durable for Large dogs, saying that we have 2 big dogs that we test everything on before we even consider selling it to the public.

sorry hun, but similar collars are about $5 at the reject shop, and I have NEVER come across a plastic clip that could survive a large dog, not even on top quality bags and the like - that style of clip is siple not up to the load.
