Me and my mate tried to order a pair of Brooks and Saucony's. Both of the shoes we wanted "cannot be shipped to the destination". Frustrating. There's no way in hell I'm paying the $100+ Australia tax those wankers charge.

    • Have you tried using a Forwarder?

I've had a look at a few online, but from the shipping rates I see it looks to be about $60. That's getting pretty hefty.
Why can't these companies just sell their products… this discrimination is insulting.

        • try wiggle.co.uk for running shoes (asics

Alot of webstores (based in the US) will have merchandise/particular brands that they cannot ship to Australia or particular countries. I believe this is part of their contracts/trade practices etc?? (i'm no lawyer but it helps to read the fine print).

        • Wiggle is a great store but they won't ship Asics anymore. StartFitness is best for Asics imo, 10% codes all over the place and they ship to Oz still.

  • $34 postage.

Yea no. I might as well order from places like asos.

      not sure is serious….

      • is pretty serious

    • Haha! Btw, in my experience eastbay shipping is actually worth that much. I ordered on Monday and got the package on Thurday. Besides you'll be saving a lot more than $34 in comparison to AUS stores. For example I got basketball shoes for $70 when they charge $150 in AUS for the same pair.

If you want to purchase something that has "free shipping" (US only), it won't apply the 20% off code because it clashes with the free shipping even though Australia doesn't get free shipping. Just use the online chat feature to talk to a rep, who will refund you the difference after you pay for the whole order.

    • I've ordered plenty times but never thought of this. How many times you got your shipping free to aus?

You dont get free shipping, some people don't realise that they're missing out on their 20% off on items that say free shipping, even though Australia is not eligible.
