FREE Wills from Slater & Gordon - Law Week 2013

2040

Due to popular demand, we've extended this offer.
Get in quick to get your FRE Will!

Last week was National Law Week, and to celebrate Slater & Gordon are giving away their Online Wills FREE.
This service normally costs $199.There’s no hidden catches, it’s not often a law firm gives away something for free.
Last year approximately 7600 Australians went online to take up this offer, and a lot of them came from OzBargain. According to research around 47% of Australians don’t have a valid Will. Our Online Will is simple to complete, convenient and this week it is free - so there is no reason to delay getting your affairs in order.
To complete the service, you first need to complete a free estate planning self-assessment as a safety precaution.
If your needs cannot be met by a Standard Online Will, it will explain why and provide guidance on the issues you need to address.
What are you waiting for? Get started now. https://online.slatergordon.com.au/sgo/?
Planning what happens to your estate after you pass away is something no one likes to think about, but we hope this free offer gives you and your family peace of mind.

Best regards,
Neil,
Slater & Gordon IT department

    • still working!

    • It is determined by the time of submission. If it is by the 19th, it will be processed free.

  • I did mine this afternoon.

    Free.

    • did mine just now.

      • Just completed mine now. Didn't ask for any money. Last option was if you wanted 2 S&G staffers to witness your Will for $10.

The website is really slowing down bad tonight - Ozbargainer's scrambling to complete their Will's before the deadline? :P

  • Due to an overwhelming success we have decided to extend the campaign for a limited time only.
Get in quick for your free Will!

    • I presume you are still offering this free till the 27th May 2013. I completed the self assessment just to see as I have fairly standard and straight forward needs.

Just a quick couple of questions:-

      1) If I happen to move from this present address or change contact details etc…how would I go about updating the information in the will?

      2) Is there a fee involved with the above?

      3) Do I receive a hard copy of the will or is it retained by you in electronic format?

apologies if this has been asked elsewhere.

      • 1.Wills are still valid….as long as the address was current at the time of signing the Will. Therefore no need to change the Will unless other specific reasons for changing the Will.

2.If updating your Will after Law Week there is a fee involved.

3.You have a choice to receive your Will via email for you to print & sign as your original document or have Slater & Gordon post a hard copy for you to sign.

  • bernardz and Eeples if you have more complex needs, you may need Estate Planning. The online platform does not have the ability to process complex situations, as this ideally would need to be overseen by a lawyer.

  • It seems they don't charge $10 for signing in their offices.
