  So who is footing the bill for these savings? Since NRMA will have to subsidise Secure Parking for the difference, I'm sure the costs benefited by OzBargainers will be passed on to NRMA members in their next price hike.

    You're assuming that NRMA is paying Secure Parking for the deal. It could be simply that Secure Parking is trying to get some revenue from idle spots and to get customers to come back to a car park that they know at regular rates another time.

  Wilson Parking, St Andrews House at Town Hall is $5.00 Mon-Fri after 6pm if pre-paid by Book a bay.

  You don't need to be NRMA member. Anyone can use.

  1. Go to this site and pre-pay using credit card.
     https://www.wilsonparking.com.au/go/book-a-bay
  2. When you enter insert the same credit card to the ticket machine at entry. Gate opens.
  3. When you exit, insert the credit card to ticket machine at exit. Gate opens.

  Tip: When you specify the entry time, you have one hour grace period. For example, if you set 7pm, you can arrive between 6pm to 8pm. When you specify the exit time, you can leave earlier than the specified time. If you set 11pm, you can still exit at 8pm. Try to set the latest time you are leaving.

    Wow, I didn't know that you could do that. Just tried it, totally awesome :) Now I can afford to drive to the city for dinners and what not.

    Also, it's $5.50 due to the 50c booking fee. This location is actually better than any of the secure park ones if you want to go to imax/darling harbour.

  Seems I'm unable to book for June 12. I hope it's just because their schedule only looks one month ahead and I will try again tomorrow.

  Ah, this is in their FAQ. Worth reading the whole thing.

  HOW FAR IN ADVANCE CAN I BOOK MY PARKING?

  You can make a Secure-a-Spot booking 30-days in advance of your intended arrival date.

  HOW CLOSE TO MY ENTRY TIME CAN I MAKE A BOOKING?

  You can make a booking up to one-hour in advance of your intended Reservation Period. However, you will not be able to amend of (sic) cancel your booking.
