  • Not cheap.

And the Speed Alerts requires a subscription.

  • cheapy chinese brand, not worth it. Office Work has a Navman s35 for $179. This Navman is smaller but is much more reliable

    • could you please post the deal, thanks

  • I don't see anything special in this "deal". It's a no from me.

  • You can get other good brands with the same money. Not a bargain.

    • M27, do you have any good brands with same moeny as example?

      • What about a Garmin 250 , which I saw for AUD 192 ( Was it JB or Good Guys?)?

I have a more expensive Garmin (nuvi 360) - bought over two years back from US, and I can understand why it is the number one selling brand in the world. Definitely one of the better deals that I got.
In GPS, it is the classic case of you get what you pay for.
Cheaper GPS may look good, but if you do not use them, it is a waste.

If you want quality, get Garmin- especially the high end ones. A nuvi 310 is available for AUD 478 from DSE, but I am sure you can get better deals.
A pity that Australia does not get the latest gadgets, and they always get next to no accessories included. The AC changer and leather carry case came standard with my GPS, and so did the car charger, suction cup etc. You can expect to pay around AUD 28 for the leather case and around 45 AUD (estimate) for the AC charger, if they do indeed manufacture it for Australia ;-)

        Cheers,
