Cost effective way to get to hotel in Manly from Syd Airport (group of people)

There will be a group of us travelling to our hotel from Sydney Airport to Manly in June so we're looking for a cost effective way to get there as a group so we can split costs and save time.

— I personally would opt for public transport but none of the other girls want that hassle and driving is out of the question.

So now I'm either thinking taxi or shuttle? Any ideas? What would be cheaper?

    How long is a piece of string? How many in a group?

    Shuttle is ~ $20/head
    Taxi Airport - Manly ~ $90

    How about Shuttle to Circular Quay ~$10/head, Ferry = $7.50 each
    Buy a Ferry 10 = $56
    - get 10 trips on the Ferry divided as you like
