Philips Azur Iron GC4865 - $74.95 in David Jones, down from $149.95

40

Hi everyone,

I just spotted this deal yesterday when I was looking for good deals on irons. Didn't turn up in any of the price comparison websites. The cheapest I saw for this iron is about $120.
Top of the range Philips iron with very good reviews.Bought in store today at Brisbane CBD.

There are good deals on other irons like the Philips Easy Care Anodilium Iron as well. http://shop.davidjones.com.au/djs/en/davidjones/easy-care-an…
It says out of stock, but there were plenty available in store.

Follow this link for a full list of other irons and products on sale. Besides these two irons there are some good deals on high end steam stations if anyone is looking for one.

Plus they have a 15% blanket discount on all full priced small appliances and vacuum cleaners above $50 in value.

Cheers.Happy ozbargaining.

  • I remember getting the GC4856 for $59 from David Jones around this time last year. Not the same iron but its pretty similar

  • What's the difference between the Azur and Easycare? Besides the fact the Easycare looks boss.

    • Looks SO boss!

  • +1

    • Yeah think I'll stick with mine too!

  • i bought this from http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/90626
my only annoyance is that the heating settings are on the dial which you turn not on the base/platform the dial is place on. just smaller text/ harder to read as the dial is right up underneath the handle
    steams good though

  • This may be a noob question, but what's the difference between this and that $4.83 one at target? Is there much reason to get an expensive one? I thought it was just a hot metal plate with holes for steam to come out basically and I can't see how one could be that much better than another other than heat variation settings, and reliability?

  • are you able to post a copy of your receipt for the GC4865?

    thanks
