    Glucosamine was touted as the solution for joint ailments a decade ago but hasn't its efficacy been dismissed or downgraded by more recent clinical trials?

      Not touted as a solution for join ailments, I believe it was advertised as it would help with it, not solve the issue.

      Which is why it is classified as a supplement not as a medicine.

    I swear by it but it needs to include msm and chondroitin and this one does. Its not a medicine and its not for old people only. It gives your body what it needs to repair cartilage while you still have enough to repair. Best taken before you get old and if you are weight bearing on joints or excessive use. My joint specialist first advised me to take it. Tastes really awful
