If this company legit?
Plus they claim to offer free shipping worldwide.
The things I have searched for are cheapy items. eg. 3.5mm to 3.5mm connector (to plug mp3 into car stereo) - is $1.56 (guessing USD)
And I can see cheapy backup ear phones (the in-ear style) for abut $3.
Just want to check anyone's experience with them.
Lost count on how many orders I've had with them. I probably buy something from their website once a week or so.

can anyone confirm that the above link would work to play AVI files on my laptop on my TV. Guess will have to check the laptop if its got this:

It's just a cable. You need your laptop to have a S-Video output port.
BTW I have one of those and it works on my laptop.
Bought quite a few things from there and everything arrives on time. Great prices and fidgety gadgets, recently got a new mobile and all is good:)
Some of the products are cheaply made - but the prices match. Its great for hard to find products that aren't really competitively priced by local stores.
Personally would steer away from complex items that may require servicing as returning these would be highly expensive.
love their little key ring torches that are cheaper than you can buy the batteries here.
Shipping is free but can take up to 2 weeks - no big deal just so you know what to expect.

DealExtreme are fine. Cheaply made products and quality isn't good but the prices justify this. Expect slow postage (2-3 weeks in my experience). I've been happy with my few orders from them.
I usually get all my orders within a week or two. The only time you won't get something within the 2week timeframe is if they don't have stock on hand (or its chinese new year or something).
Best thing is, you can order a 90 cent screwdriver and they still ship it free ;)
Also had a $20 pci-e sata card arrive DOA. Requested an RMA and they sent a new one no questions asked. Didn't have to ship it back or anything.
I've ordered from them twice. They take awhile to ship them out but it's usually 2 weeks after I've placed my order. I've ordered a $2USD sd card reader that was DOA and they shipped me a new one for free without needing to send back the old one. I've also purchased $7AUD earphones from them that are surprisingly good.
I've ordered tonnes of stuff from them - they are very good. Much of their stuff is also drop shipped by ebay sellers so you may have bought from them before and not even known about it.
