      Not bad, but not great, you get what you pay for.
      I reckon it's more like tarocash/yd. quality if you really wanna compare.

      quality similar to Myer, IMHO.
      I got a duffle coat last season and it is quite thick and fully lined.
      Much better quality than Cottonon, SES etc.

      If it's of any help… I bought some size 36 denim pants from them not too long ago and the actual fit were a lot smaller compared to some of my other size 36 denim pants that weren't from Hallensteins. YMMV

        Nah ive found theyre quite similiar to my country road sized pants. Different products will vary but they have a cheapish returns policy. Though last time i got some v necks, paid $10 to return them and realised they had none left to exchange me. Would've been good if theyd told me that before i paid to ship it back.. I would've kept them if that was the case

      I'm 104cm chest as well, I usually get L or XL for jackets. I checked the fitment guide and 104cm is at the end of L (100cm to 104cm) and the starting point of XL (104cm to 108cm).

          I guess it's to account for extra layers of clothing worn underneath. If you tend wear just a t-shirt or shirt then go for the Large, if you wear singlets, thick jumpers etc then you might be better going for the X-Large.

      I bought a L jacket from them last time, it's slightly big but not too bad, I guess it comes down to what sort of body type you are, my body is not small though, but I don't know how small M is. (my chest is ~105cm)

      I would get S if I was you because u still need to wear a t-shirt inside the jacket so get a bigger one would give u more comfortable fit :).

    i bought the wool melton jacket before (S size) and it was absolutely huge. their other S size stuff fits me fine, but that jacket was way bigger than normal

    I think you get what you paid for. They are probably the same quality you get from ASOS. For jackets and coats I'd prefer $200+ ones.

      Can you recommend any good online stores? I went shopping for coats at Myer today, all of the $150 - $200 coats had ridiculous amounts of buttons and pockets.. the only plain coat I could find there exceeded $300.

          If you have a few purchases with big transactions in short duration they tend to block as the risk is that it is a stolen card and big transactions in short succession is what usually happens when a card is actually stolen.
          One single big transaction is not usually enough to warrant blockage.

    I bought the charcoal Button Wool Melton Jacket and it arrived yesterday.
    Shipping only took 3 days.
    The quality of the jacket is awesome for $35. Styles great aswell. Looks exactly like the picture. Simple and stylish.
    Definitely Myer quality.
    Could not be happier with my purchase.
    The extra 25% has expired but the jackets are still on sale so you can still get it for $45 (I plan on getting the black one aswell =)

    NOTE: The jacket is a lot bigger than other jackets! I always wear a small but luckily from reading previous comments, i ordered XS and it fits me perfectly and looks great. If any of you guys intend on ordering again, for the Button Wool Melton Jacket make sure you order 1 size less!

    Got my Button Melton jacket in, definitely too big.

    If any kind people who got a S or XS of the Button Wool Melton Jacket be able to post measurements of actual measurements (sleeve from shoulder hem, chest when buttoned, length from neck to bottom) that would be highly appreciated and would help others getting a return! I'll post measurements of the M when I get home :)

    Just received two jackets today. The sizes are perfect for me. I usually buy XXL (which I did) and their XXL jackets are the same size as the ones in Rivers.

    the xs jacket is waaay too large for my slim boyfriend. He is now mad at me for getting him to buy it. In fact it fits me who is usually a size L in womens. Sad. I'd actually recommend the xs for most average sized men, it is pretty roomy around the middle. Or if anyone wants to pick up mine from melbourne for $30?

    measurements are as follows:

    length: 72cm
    chest: 48cm
    arms: 58cm

      I wondered myself if it was because of the Maori/Islanders who can be quite large.

      I think the xs would be too big for you. I would call it a L also.
