But why would I want to check the size of… OHHH, my finger. Right.

    • +3

Yes, that's right. You need to know what size your ring is to be sure that your finger will fit!

  • Why not

I got mine from the last post http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/76093
    (10 months ago)

Note that the ring sizer would take ages to arrive. (def. more than 2 months in my case, even longer than my torch from tmart).

i got one last time. not really useful for anything unless you actually need a ring.

      duhh.

      Great for drawing circles.

      • +1

not even that, they are pop-out rings

Be wary: I got one last time I saw this advertised (July last year?) It took so long to get here that I had already bought my fiancees engagement ring by then - about 2 months. Do not rely on timely delivery.

  • Thanks!

  • took ages and they use different measurements compared to australia too

  • +1

Useful on Australia Day. Check your girth, compare with your mates.

If you can fit in one of these ring holes then its unlikely that you'll need to be buying an engagement ring at all.

Never got mine last time :( I actually wanted to use it…. to draw circles.

    • I never got mine too. :(

  • would be a serious hint for a girl to use if this arrives in the mail hahaha

  • I have purchased wedding rings through blue nile before and was very happy with the price, quality, and speedy delivery.

The only thing that didn't work out well was the free ring sizer! Either it was inaccurate, or (more likely), I used it incorrectly, perhaps due to sizer being made of flexible plastic (making it hard to gauge the tightness/roundness of an actual ring of that size on your finger).

Whatever the reason, the rings I ordered ended up being a fair bit bigger than expected. By all means use blue nile, but consider getting your size measured properly at a jeweller's/etc.

  • registered but never been send to me. anyone got this thing from previous promo???

    • I ordered from the last promo and got one. Took roughly a month. Very handy if you end up buying a ring with US sizing.

  • at a quick glance I thought it was Fred Nile giving away ring sizers

  • Should state the ring is for a finger, not something else

  • If you liked it then you should put a ring on it

I never received mine from the last offer, despite sending two follow up emails and responding to their questionnaire. I did receive spam from them though.

    • Me too

  • Any time you look at rings on jamesallen, you get to request a ring sizer. they won't deliver one to australia, but instead you get a .pdf of a page with ring sizes that you can get. just make sure the page is to scale and you are set.

  • I got it months later, I'd actually already bought the ring… haha

  • Ordered, hopefully it'll come in time

  • So does this have anything to do with "size really does matter" ?
