HTC One - $686 at HN (Price Match at JB Hi-Fi for $680)

90

Although not the bargain of the year, i can't see it any cheaper anywhere at the moment. Correct me if i'm wrong. It's advertised at JB for $696, and HN have it for $686 so i told JB that and got it for $680 outright. It's a fantastic phone and well worth the cash, being cheaper than even the entry level iPhone 5 and beating it in most regards. Stock is getting very low and they're selling quick, so i just though i'd put it out there. The Good Guys are also advertising it for $686 so bargain away.

Why not use ING paywave on its last day to pay for a $99 portion of it? :P

  • Not really a bargain though.
I got it for $686 at HN and it's pretty worth it,
The phone's price probably is not gonna drop too fast due to shortages.

Stock android HTC one will be on sale late June in the US (and maybe Australia) for US $599.

But Australian price are always higher than the US, so dont count on it

    • Even if it does come to Aus it's likely to be $699, and I'd rather have Sense than stock Android.
You can flash a stock android ROM on the standard version too.

If it comes with timely OTA updates like a Nexus phone then I'd take stock over any other flavour of Android.

        • "It loses Blinkfeed, all of the camera software (including Zoes), and the IR blaster is disabled, but it keeps Beats"

i dont use blinkfeed because i installed nova launcher.. but the camera software and IR blaster is a big loss

agreed, i had a p.o.s. iphone 4 after having a 3gs, then went to this. The mrs has a iPhone 5 and it's not a patch on this. Plus the two year warranty is reassuring.

  • Are people experiencing issues with the HTC One? I hear alot of design flaw issues, like gaps in the metal body, NFC might not be responsive?

    • The gap issue is ok now, and there's no widespread NFC issues.

    • Mines alright but I don't use NFC

  • waiting for HTC One Nexus Experience. pure android no HTC sense.
