      with my 55L tank, i'm better off redeeming 2000 points for $10 flybuys dollars than simply going for the 18c discount.

      everyone needs to do their own calculations to see what works out best for them :)

        But you can take 2 cars in and fill them both up and pay and use the 1 voucher for both cars.

        I have several times payed for pumps 4,5 and 8 using 1 voucher (2 petrol and 1 gas)

          No I get my wife to follow me to the petrol station. Gee I though all Ozbargainers would be doing this.
          Yer I never had any issues with the staff even though it might not be permitted.
          Just so long as you keep it under 150 litres total

          The operator can refuse but they rarely do. You'd have to get a complete arsehole not to honor it

          yes you can but, i did not try three pumps. i have got lpg and petrol (dual fuel). so every time I can get a total of 50L lpg + 60L petrol.

          several months ago when the "2c off offer" still valid, i can also get an free 1L milk ;)

        I think if you're pumping the full 55L it's more worth it to get the discount voucher than use flybuys dollars though because:

        You save 10c/L.
        10L pumped is $1.00 saved.
        50L pumped is $5.00 saved. Which is the value of 1000 flybuys points. So if you were to pump over 50L of petrol, the 10c/off per litre is worth it.

          i see what you mean in terms of points/$ value. however i did forget that i'd have to spend at least $30 to get that 8c discount in the first place.

          and, just checking my flybuy's account, i have another 2000 points (thank you coles surveys!) to redeem for another $10, which i can use for stuff other than fuel :)

    good news for Perth people…Coles Express is the cheapest tomorrow in the whole metro area for ULP and 98 RON. and second cheapest for PULP (but only by 0.4 cents)
