  Nice. I bought some Beef Eye Fillet from woolworths the other day and the regular price was $45/kg but I got it for half price.

  The meat section of my most local Harris Farm (Penrith) is not actually run by Harris Farm themselves - they apparently lease it out. It's why ALL meat purchases must be paid for at the meat counter.

  Not sure how general that is…..

    I think that's only when there is a staff run deli section. At the smaller Harris Farms the meat is paid for at the main register.

    I've seen that price come and go for the past year at Broadway Harris farms. Its actually quite cheap for Beef Eye Fillet, but since it doesn't quote the origin of the cow…I would assume its a premium cut from a cheap cow.

  Cooked with a season of salt and cracked pepper, cooked it medium, absolutely beautiful, it's beef eye fillet, can you get bad quality eye fillet??

    medium Rare is the way to go with Beef eye fillet, i would only go medium if it was horse eye fillet. then again im no longer living in the uk……

  Good price. Just see it at Aldi for double the price.
