2 for 1 Movies with Ansell LifeStyles Condoms (From $12.50 to $21.50)

130

Very similar deal to ING 2 for 1 movies http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/95627 (same promo company) with a purchase of Ansell LifeStyles Condoms.

Valid at Event, Greater Union, Birch Carrol & Coyle, Village, Palace, Dendy, plus a few other independent cinemas.

Required info is receipt number, product barcode and an email address. The receipt number is four random digits, and the barcodes can be found with some simple Googling. Barcode for extra small is: 9310201061924 and extra large: 9310201061962 ;)

Most cinema tickets are $19 each, however some are as low as $10. Each transaction has an admin fee of $2.50. This equals $10.75 per ticket and is good for people unable to use the Telstra $10 ticket offer.

Also worth noting that like many other deals, this is not valid after 5pm on Saturdays.

    • For before or after?

      • +2

        During.

    • Maybe they should restrict it to R rated romantic movies only

"Ansell want you to get cosy and intimate with that special someone so we are offering a 2 for 1 movie voucher". Pity the cleaners.

  • +8

Perfect. Need protection when the movies screw you with ticket pricing.

    • +2

"Wait, before you charge me $20 for a movie, would you please put this on?"

    • +3

hey, what about what they charge for lollies, popcorn and softdrinks?

  • I like how I have to "submit" my entry for this deal.

Julia Gillard announced today that she is changing the government logo to a condom because it more clearly reflects the government's political stance. A condom stands up to inflation, halts production, destroys the next generation, protects a bunch of pricks, and gives you a sense of security while it's actually screwing you.

    • if they was originally your Words, then , GREAT going!!!

      • +1

        No chance.

Everything that needs to be said has already been said.
But since no one was listening, everything must be said again.

Ladies….we're from Ozbargain….can we skip straight to the Condom usage then watch the move from torrents?

    • Only if the torrent turns out to be a fake and is instead a pr0n0.

  • I hate the time when I had to walk to the counter to get my 2-for-1 ticket when the cashier gives me the funny look in the eye.

well….great deal any way u look at it. More sex, more free movies.

  • +1

Do these tickets count as free tickets?
I was just wondering because some movies that just came out still say no free tickets.

    • +3

Sort of. These condom-derived tickets are only good for movies that are …<puts on sunglasses> … coming soon. YEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!

  • +1

Im sure the people who clean up the cinema love the idea of condoms with movie tickets. Apparently they find lots of used condoms in the last rows in poorly attended movies (eg anything starring eddie murphy).

  • Great. Sign up to be spammed by a condom company.

Might aswell, get enough spam from viagra companies

  • Does this deal or the ing deal stack with the Telstra $10 movie tix deal?

  • how long does purchase take? ive bought, and waited for nearly 24 hours and havent received the vouchers in my inbox yet..

    • Did it come through? Doesn't seem to be instantaneous…

      • +1

No one likes coming too quick.

    • Has your "arrived" yet? I just bought mine, thinking I'd see a movie this arvo, but it says it can take up to 24 hours.

  • +1

I paid for my vouchers on the 9th. They just came at 6pm Tuesday the 11th. More than 48 hours. They came from Experience this and have ANSELL 2 for 1 written on them in BIG letters. Great. I look forward to bringing those to the box office.

    • +1

Great. They even have a photo of the condom boxes on the voucher. Just in case someone doesn't associate Ansell with condoms. Thanks promoter.

I remember the gold class upgrades, how you'd have to attached a magnum wrapper. Maybe we should staple an empty packet to the voucher.

      • Nah, staple the used product to show you're not scamming them. Proof of purchase and use.

    • Just some points so you are aware when using this deal:

      • It can take 2 or 3 days for your voucher to arrive via email - WTF?
      • The actual cost for two adults is $23.70 when booking online ($19 + $2.50 admin fee + $2.20 booking fee).

If you have RACQ membership definitely go for their $10 tickets option instead.

      • The $2.20 fee only applies when booking online.

Also, the voucher email title is very vague. It says something retarded like 'here are some vouchers for you'. I very nearly deleted that email because it seemed like spam. You know how some spammers will send you an email that reads '$100 absolutely free for you to spend anyway you choose!!!!!!". You open it up and it is for some items only and you have a massive minimum spend.
