Cyberbike 2 for the PS3 $98 at Big W. I have had one of these for nearly a year and its great fun. The games are a little dorky but the exercising with the trainer is great. Perfect for keeping up the bike fitness with winter coming. Also these are getting hard to get and the price is great.

Have fun.

I didn't even know these exist! Is it a decent substitute for a normal exercise bike?

  • Op, since you have this, do you know what is the max weight that the bike can take? The paddles look fragile.. how is the quality of it?

The box says 130kg / 286lbs. I find the quality quite good. The plastic foot stoppers kept popping off and had to be glued so the feet wouldnt damage the floor. Thats about it. It was however my first magnetic resistance bike and I found myself able to do the workouts on max, something you simply cant do with the old resistance method. If this is the same for all magnetic resistance bikes or these just dont go that high I dont know. There is resistance but it was still quite a difference compared to the old method. With the old method you could actually stop the wheel turning which is silly, but I still would prefere more than this offers.

  • whats the weight/height limit for this kind of thing?

  • hmm i need this for my acl rehab!

It's actually quite sturdy. But you do have to put in some effort when peddling, as it is a tad tougher to pedal on whatever setting you choose compared to an ordinary gym bike. There's also a bunch of games dealing with collecting coins in the mini-games. Some of them are tough, and will leave you wheezing on the carpet afterwards. You can also use it on other games as well, like FPS if you like exercising and shooting WWII soldiers at the same time…

Can you put the seat up high enough to get a proper pedalling position? If I peddled in the position the bloke in the youtube clip is in- far too low- I'd wreck my knees within a fortnight.

I like to think I'm extremely well informed of the videogame industry and what games are released - but I had absolutely no idea that this existed. Weird!

    • same!

        • What a shame! :)

  • Does anyone know if the multiplayer is only useable online? If I buy two, can we have two players playing/racing against each other?

Did a quick search on google, couldnt find answer

    • You'll be lucky to find two. I had a look at all the available stock near me, and it's pretty much sold out everywhere with the exception of one or two stores, and I imagine they'll probably only have one of them.

      • But doesnt the sale start tomorrow ?

      • I bought mine nearly a year ago from big w for $218 the box was tattered and it looked like clearance stock. I was surprised they had them left to put in a catalogue.

        • They've also have the t12 treadmill in the catalogue but there's no stock in the 6 BigWs I've called this morning.

  • That looks great, nice price too.
