  Nothing to write home about…

  We suggest:

  • Import from Hong Kong via eBay (using PayPal to pay)

  • Unless it's for a lower primary school aged child, save up for a camera that one can "grow into" (ie, start out in auto "P" mode, as you learn how to use other modes) - eg, a Panasonic DMC-ZSnn, where "nn" varies with model & price… all the way up to one - eg, DMC-ZS20 - with great zoom range & even includes a GPS, if you save a bit longer; even some of the "cheaper" DMC-ZSnn models are still worth saving up for… IMO. ;-)

    Yes, if there were stock anywhere. To save the trouble:

    Maybe stock in Chadstone and Fountain Gate (very limited, one or less)

    Good stock at Traralgon, Warrnambool, Devonport (TAS) and Albury only.

  If you want a better camera than this Sony camera there's currently that Panasonic 14mp camera going for half price at Dick Smith $74 which does do 720p HD video record. It's not a childs play camera.

  For Perth people, I saw this instore today at the Mirrabooka branch, bought a couple for my kids. They had a fair few of the green ones and only display models in other colours the guy told me. so if you want one, go for your life hey :D
