    • not even vaguely similar pram…

    • I dont think thats the one he/she bought. Think they got the single with the toddler seat attachment

Edit - $955 AU delivered from TRU. That includes $224 delivery.

      Wow I am hopeless :(

Ebay shipped from usa is roughly $900. So I dont mind paying the $40 for Aus stock and local warranty and supporting Aussie business.
I've already tested it out. Fits snug in the boot of my i30 (including 2 pram seats however unattached from frame). I was also quoted $1100 from baby buntings just for the double pram alone

Got our single seat from a NZ online store for $470 shipped DHL in early 2012. Bought 2nd seat & adapters for $150 via eBay.

US price was around AUD$600 shipped for a single seater at the time. Doesn't seem to be many available atm.

AUS prices are stupid, over double for a red brake handle & a strap the most people don't use.

  • These were available from Amazon for about $800 about 6 months ago, ended up buying one second hand for $600. I spent about $50 for the first kid But when you have two, this is well worth it.

Pls note the U.S models fail to comply with the Australian mandatory standard. Petty reasons really. However, it might affect resale value in the future and these prams resale value is pretty good.

    • Starting to sound like a rep!!

      • Lol true. But Nah..I'm a murse (male nurse) just trying to give some advise.

We always look for the red vs. black brake handle when we're out and about, probably a 50/50 split. Doesn't seem to affect resale value much. The baby forums are full of parents looking for bargains & people generally know that the AU vs. US differences are tiny & pointless.

      • Depends what the price difference is. I have noticed the red brake versions do go for slightly more($50-$100) but is it worth the extra price? Also warranty can also be an issue. Many prams have had recalls or free part replacements in the last few years. Not sure about this one but off the top of my head Bugaboo and Phil and Teds did. So imports do have there drawbacks.

Personally when I last purchased a second hand pram, I would only look at red brake options, party due to the resale.

  • 2012 model? How embarrassing for the twins to be seen in such an old model :P

  • $820 for the baby jogger city select with second seat included at pram warehouse.

    Or is that different?

Does anyone have this pram who has a tall toddler, I'm considering it but our 2yo is 94cm tall already and don't know if he will go ok in it for more than the next few months…

    • Yeah I called them a few days ago. it's sold out plus $40 delivery to Melbourne from Sydney. Also it's the 2010 model with slightly shorter seats, silver colour only which is hard to keep clean imo and a few minor changes compared to 2011/2012 models.

    • Hey Dammit. Regards to your tall 2 y.o. Some of the reviews are saying that they can fit a 3y.o and a new born on the 2010. Check it out but you need to convert feet to centimeters because it's an American review.
