you beat me by 25 secs…

    • Does home delivery on this deal work for anyone?

It seems to work if you got to 'checkout', but not if you go to 'view cart'

      • Sorry I should have clarified the error occurs when I try to proceed to the payment. I have tried your suggestion and still get the same error on both Perth CBD postcode and my home postcode, whether I am logged in with an account or checkout as a guest.

  • From what i can tell the $80 recharge will give 4GB over 60 days with $10 talk/text credit

    http://www.telstra.com.au/internet/mobile-broadband/prepaid/…

    • So, does this mean that $ 89.00 buys:

      • 3 GB to use over 30 days, PLUS

      • 4 GB to use over the next 60 days…?

      …or what?

And… why doesn't DSE and/or Telstra make this CLEAR?!?

      • Exactly what I'm trying to clarify now…
Edit: That's what it looks like to me too!
I wish they'd leave the expiry for longer on these things. We only use it occasionally!

        • They know…

The only good deal I've seen from Telstropoly is:

          • $70 (last time I checked; was $60) for 12 mon phone-only service; OK deal if you -sometimes- need to be contacted in the Bush, etc. where NextG range is essential.

We use it as an "incoming-only" service, & to keep our "nice phone no." alive until we find a better deal.

the rates are on that page, you can also use the $80 on a normal telstra sim on whatever plan you're normally on, ie encore, long life etc

        • I wish they'd leave the expiry for longer on these things. We only use it occasionally!

If you want long expiry, it will cost you $180 for 12Gb over 365 days…

Works out $15 per month, at an average of 1Gb per month…

  • does the $80 recharge effectively unlock this - i am going overseas (thailand) and the tri band 3G (850/900/2100MHz - from specs page on DS website) seems to cover most bases and would be pretty cheap wifi modem for my (soon to purchase)tablet. any reason this wouldnt work with most chinese tablets

    • +1

      yeah, it's not a wifi modem :)

you're better off with the $10 usb + wifi modem from coles
