  • not including the stuff on ebay form the USA, which i presume you cant use in aus due to the power adapter. Looks to be the cheapest by about $200 online.

  • +1

    no built-in bluetooth :(

      • I already bought that. :-) I even posted in that thread. Sound quality using it is absolutely terrible. Sounds like it's under water. :(

        • LOL - I have 'chopping' issues when simultaneously streaming files in-wifi and out-bluetooth on my Ultrabook to the Belkin receiver, but seems OK when playing only over bluetooth (eg. from local files on iPhone). Though now that you mention it, everything sounds much deeper via the Belkin (not in a good way deeper)

  • how does it compare to Onkyo TX-NR515 http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/95429 (AirPlay aside)?

  • You can get a Wifi or bluetooth adapter if you need/want one.
I was looking at the Onkyo, but after reading a few forums and reviews, they seem to have a problem with the HDMI
    http://www.whathifi.com/review/onkyo-tx-nr515/user-reviews
can't find the other sites I was reading on.
Plus didn't have 4K passthrough, just for a little future proofing, off Onkyo's site
"Note: 4K video playback requires a 4K-compatible TV. HDMI pass-through of 4K content from source devices is not supported."
It was the cheapest I could find anywhere, even trying to see if HN would match, nope, they are charging $1075.

  • These things are so expensive. But good deal nevertheless

  • I picked up the HTR6065 (673) last year for $418 from JB.

Very happy at that price, but the AirPlay functionality is borderline useless. There was also some minor issues with dealing with 480p video over component.

Still, setup was good, and whilst I must admit I never really push it in terms of performance (it sounds fine at the levels I use it at, but most receivers would), functionally I couldn't really ask for more.

  • Well finally set up the 675.
Connected to internet, updated firmware, connected all devices
Sony BluRay player, WDTV Live, Topfield PVR, Foxtel and the XBox360.
Everything work without a problem, and sounds great.
Airplay and internet radio worked without a problem.
    Just doing the tweaking now.
