    • If you wanna use 28D card price insurance, better go for Kogan, as Kogan ius a dedicated tech devices reseller and should have the s4 for sale for a long time while shoppingsquare is a online dept store, the s4 may not for sale in 6 months

Price dropped $200 within 6 weeks since they first released. I'm pretty sure the price will fall below $550 within the next few weeks. You better off pay with your 28 degrees mastercard.

    • Price drops don't follow a linear scale.. There are diminishing returns, or else it will be free in 4 months.

  • well done on trashing kogan

  • is kogan likely to drop prices more in 6 months or shopping square??? for 28 degrees price protection

Do we get a valid gst bill if i buy from kogan??and how long will it take to reach to me in melborne bayswater cauz i need it soon as i m going abroad

    • Do we get a valid gst bill if i buy from kogan

No, Kogan is a grey importer like SS, and will not have GST on the invoice, so you're not going to be able to claim 10% GST back from Tourist Refund Scheme when you go overseas.

If you want, you can claim 10% GST back from AU stock though (like Officeworks)
You can consider the TRS cashback like this: 10% off an AU SGS4 + you get 2 years samsung official warranty.

        LOL

You can claim 10% GST, but you're paying 30% more than shoppingsquare. Their price @ $778.

Unless OW willing to price match $600 + 5% difference.

        • Yeah, there is the price difference, also AU stock gets 2 Official Samsung warranty :p

Will try the price match tomorrow at OW. :)

Think of it like, you've already got your TRS refund included in the price immediately, without applying for it or flying out.

  • Just found a warranty process from their x customer.

Quote "It will take up to 20 days for fault inspection PLUS 2-4 weeks for warranty processing overseas PLUS the delivery time." This is outrageous!

Rep, you better explain this is not true!

    • Long time reader-first time poster.

I can confirm this is real. I ordered my SGS 2 off these people around 2 years ago(when it was just released) and I had a problem with the screen so I sent it back to them. Weeks went on until I finally got a reply about if it had shipped back to me or not(which was vague btw), and when I recieved my phone back there was nothing to state what had been done to it(I had to email them to ask what, if anything was done to it).

Avoid this company if you can, hopefully they've changed since then but I doubt it. Shame really because said phone has finally stopped working, and this deal looked tempting until I saw the poster…

  • Just tried to order a micro sd card - total came to $47.95 which incl. $25 remote area surcharge.
Not going to be ripped off by shopping square. No deal!

  • Excellent deal, order placed. Thanks SS

  • If there is a problem with the phone do we send it back to your AU head office or HK head office? I'd really like this question answered.

Do people not learn from past mistakes?

Seriously - Shopping Square has to be the worst place to shop out of all the online retailers out there at the moment..

You have been warned yet again about this mob.

Which is the best? At comparable prices that is. Don't say Officeworks.

      • ooh ooh, I know… Dick Smith!!!!! NOT!

  • Can someone confirm pls if the S4 imported from overseas can get Navigon with Australia and NZ map for free. I checked with noworries they said navigon is available on google playstore but cannot confirm the free Australia and NZ map.

    • It runs off google maps so it will just download the maps no matter where you are?

    • neosnoopy, i bought a Kogan import- Galaxy Note2 and Navigon is available from the samy app store (and it works fine) free btw

  • The reason its dropping is because they're coming out with a new S4 model. I'd rather pay $200 for a copy version with the same amount of warranty to be honest. http://www.pandawill.com/star-b6000-smartphone-mtk6589t-15gh…

    • The clone phone looks good with a bigger 5.7" screen and 1/3 of the price. The only problem is if the phone is faulty, you have to send it back to China using a private courier and that cost a lot of money.

  • The Galaxy Note 2 B6000 5.8" @ $205 is even better.
