Playasia have this for sale in their weekly specials. Apparently it is a code they will send you to redeem the game on steam.
I had a quick read through and didn't see any mention of region restrictions.
It did stipulate that there is only 1 code per person.
+1 for never playing.
The sp and co-op stuff isn't too bad, but the mp is horrible.
Picked this up for $10 AUD at Dick Smith. If you're after this game, I'd suggest you check it out first, as conversion of USD to AUD will bring it over the $10 price mark.
It works out to be around $10.30, more than happy to pay 30 cents rather than play Dick Smith stock roulette.

Is the PC any good? I recall hearing much of an outcry over issues with one of the PC versions of a recent CoD game.
I guess what I want to know is: Is it better than the PS3 version and how so?

If you can live playing with BOTS, aim bots especially, griefing, cheating and all the cussing that won't be tolerated in Xbox Live, then PC should be fine.
I've been accused plenty of times of being a haxxor on the PS3 version, usually of using aimbots by 12 year olds or drunken hidjits. I'm not saying you are either but are there actually known to be aimbots on the PC version or are you just surmising?

There are aimbotters, but not as many as you think (most people have left MW3 for BOPs). Cheaters seem to peak at certain time periods — I've had one session where I continually found hackers no matter which server I joined.
Let's just say I've been exposed to aim bots. Youtube is full of highlights

Yep TBH. As I have been playing consoles only since 2010. Bought this when it was $20 at DSE thinking it will save $ on the long run by not having to buy Xbox Live Gold…Turns out the PS3 is the best version for me. And I do own the 3 versions.

Just brought a copy at dick smith in dandenong…it was in the $5 bucks clearance bin with $20 tag on it. Scanned at $10 so meh. There was only a few copies left.

Is this your first order from PlayAsia? It was mine, I think they get the jitters on people ordering digital stuff on a first order. Submit a customer service request on the page that should have the cdkey.

I will never play it but added it to my steam-peen.
