Bonds Guy-Front $9.50 & Ladies Hipsters 1/2 Price @ Woolies

80

Woolworths are advertising Guy-Front trunks for $9.50 (half price) in their current catalogue which starts today. This is the cheapest i've seen in quite a while for good underwear. They really are the whole package. Don't miss this or you'll feel like a sack of crap. Keep at least one eye on the prize. Don't buy too many though, you don't want to shaft the next person wanting them. Ok i'm done for now (but Dickies towels are also half price).

Bonds socks are also 30% off, and women's hipster briefs are half price. Go grab a box of them.

  • Bonds moves manufactuing over to China; it should be $9.50 without the 1/2 price at a minimum!

yes the move has been mentioned many times already recently, but they're still better quality than anything else i've ever had by a huge margin. However i bought some from Best & Less that seemed lower quality, not sure if they have different suppliers. They also had tags in them where all the other ones i've got from Target and Coles have been tagless. The elastic seems better quality on the Coles and Target ones too.

      • but they're still better quality than anything else i've ever had by a huge margin.

You may want to look in to Calvin Klein ideally these.

I would say these are 2x as comfortable of Bonds trunks.

so you own bonds guyfronts and CK trunks? they're hard to attain, the sizes go quickly although i was going to try them last time. Either way the Bonds are still very comfortable underwear and at a good price, available at your local woolies.

I own Calvin Klein and Bonds. I'd say that the quality of Calvin Klein is vastly inferior when compared to the Bonds. The elastic on the CKs wear out very quickly!

      • have found the guyfront trunks to actually be of very poor quality. they get very thin and start to get holes after a few months. only positive is fit and comfort.

        • fair enough. I have over 30 pairs and they've all been good for me after several months - but like i said, there are guyfronts from some outlets that are lower quality than others.

    • Their cost of production is not a factor here.

The equilibrium price of this good in the Australian market is.

Tell that to Ford and Holden.

        • dont need to, they know this too, hence they are shutting up shop, its not how much it cost u to produce, its how much ur competitors sell for, hence ford and holden can't compete, and saying bybye.

        • don't the cost to produce directly affect how much you can price it at?

        • It is the bottom floor price at which you can sell and still be viable. It doesn't determine how much you can mark up a product. Other factors such as perceived brand image, quality, market demand etc also play a role.

        • you can produce a car at 50k and try to mark up any % you want, but if ur competitors are selling them for 40k. It doesnt matter what you sell it for, you just wont sell any.

  • Coles also have them discounted but i think it was 30% when i saw them last night
