    So really we just need 1 person to buy a S4 i9505 from this retailer, then take the receipt to OW (who also have Australian A-tick unbranded stock) and their price beat of 5% per their terms will end up being the same as the deal posted the other day; $683.05 total; those using their paywave MasterCard can save more with the gift-card "trick". So mobileciti, I don't 'buy' that its hard to get other grey importers to match your price/deal….I'm sure you'd sell a bucketload of the i9505's if you just slapped THEE most competitive price tag of $650 shipped for a-tick stock; or something close to it…Hell i'd bite, saves me going through Officeworks for the exact same stock you carry.

    OzBargainers are still waiting for the retailer with a bit of guts looking to sell i9505 Australian stock at a decent price…and literally each week its lower and lower. Why not a 24 hour sale on the s4's at the aforementioned price? It's coming and whoever does will enjoy some good sales!

    Rookie question, but if I buy one of these phones outright, how do I receive android updates? I'm used to getting updates via carrier as I'm currently on plan.
    Would I be correct in saying that outright phones receive updates via the manufacturer? E.g., Sony would prompt me for an update on the xperia z when it's ready?
    Or would I have to manually search for the update and do it myself?

      For the unbranded phones, they receives updates directly from manufacturer, for the ones that branded with a carrier, they receives an update from the carrier.

      In order to find out the branding information, simply check on product specification TAB of each product page.

          In Australia no, but might be in other countries that don't use LTE 1800 or 2600. But if LTE is not available it falls back to 3G

      Yes, it is, but you need to update the firmware through vodafone to unlock the LTE feature. Vodafone previously bar the LTE service on this handset, but now they have released update to unblock it.
