    Also from the functions like a tablet that can be used as a eBook reader?

    Wouldnt it be better to pay a little bit extra and buy a dual core tablet with better screen resolution.

      eink is better if you read a lot unless you want to use it for something else.

    If you want it for reading, get e-ink (there is a deal today for kobo mini).
    If you want any of the other features too, get a quad core tab with 1Gb ram, otherwise you will find it almost unusably slow.

          Agreed, but some of the cheap chinese quad cores are around $100.
          And $48 is $48 wasted if you want to use it, for example, to check gmail and it is unusably slow.

    Cheap and nasty.
    If you want an e-reader get a kobo mini next time they're $49.
    If you want a tablet spend the extra $100 or so to get a decent one with Android.
