Hi all,
Seen the other night on Tv IGA liquor have Jim Beam white label 700 ml for $27.00. Dan Murphy's is currently selling these for $34.00.
Good for those who like Jim Beam white Label. unsure when this deal ends as it is not listed in their catalog. Unsure if is at Supa IGA liquor stores or any IGA liquor and even if it is Aus wide? Normally don't shop at IGA.

Enjoy.

  • rubbish whisky

  • $25-27 was the price I paid for Jim Beam when I first started drinking bourbon….in 1991. Wish inflation rates were similar for everything else.

    • +1

How's your wages looking in 2013 as compared to 1991?
With what I was making in back 91, I wouldn't be able to afford to freeze the water to make the ice to put in the drink!!!

      • You're not wrong.

  • Bogans rejoice.

    • +1

It can never hurt to keep a bottle of this stuff in the cabinet for when people you don't really like all that much come over. Keep the more decent stuff for yourself :)

        Indeed.

"Fancy some nice whisky?" <reaches for single malt>

        "Sure - with Coke thanks"

"No problem." <fishes out dusty bottle of bourbon>

  • snobs

    • It's not snobby to denigrate rubbish whisky as the rubbish it is. It's not like all cheap whiskies are rubbish - Chivas still goes down alright, as does Jamison. It's just that bourbon is complete rubbish - hence it's never drunk neat.

      • "as the rubbish it is"…. Well for me to get my hands on any spirit is a blessing. See i can't afford such luxuries and drink 1 glass of port (cheapest i can find) per night as my indulgence. If for some reason i get my hands on a bottle of spirit no matter how cheap or rubbish it may seem to others, i carefully drink a small glass a day until it's gone enjoying every bit of it. So to hear people go on and on about their superior palate is boring and pointless. This is bargain for said product. That's it.
