Picked this one up at Dick Smith Randwick. Assuming all other DSE stores will do the same deal IF they have the demo unit in stock. Do not expect perfection on a demo unit - mine had scratches, but still looked very nice after wiping the dust.. Worth every cent and perhaps a better deal than the impossible to attain brand new (in store) ones. I thank the DSE representative who was kind enough to trolley the item to my car.

lucky you my local DSE charged me full price wouldn't give one cent discount even though got few scratches on it and only half wiped my cabinet.
Was seriously thinking returning it after I read this. Wish I have read your post earlier before I bought mine.
there is one demo unit in Booragoon. I ordered one of the cabinets and they said they only have the one already assembled in store, I cant get it home in the car. someone may be able to and get a cheap cabinet out of it.
