  • This item has been backordered from the supplier. Expect minimal delay.

  • Got one thanks for the post.

  • $68 shipping to Darwin. Not free for whole country maybe?

  • would this better than the kambrook one at Kmart ($99)?? or cheapo Aldi ones? ($29)

    • +1

I got this during the last deal and I can say the build quality is great and has got good suction. I can recommend this.

      • How does it stack up against a Dyson?

edit: someone further down thinks its better in comparison

  • Thanks. Got one.^

Hey team, for Velocity members, get 2 points per dollar spent at appliancesonline.com.au (until 1st July 2013)

Edit: Andd… I just bought one, thanks OP

    • oh missed it by a min. might email them as this is 2nd one I bought if they consider giving me few free points…

    • +1

Just wondering if it's possible to combine both Velocity and Starthere(moneybackco) together? I bought one through Starthere. I doubt Velocity will be so kind enough to give me points though…

  • +2

bought another one for family thanks.. totally love this vaccum… less noise then usual Kkart/Piranhas

  • Thanks OP +1, got one

    • +1

Bought last time also , works well, highly recommend at this price.

  • +1

    edit: question answered above

  • Someone commented that it wasn't great on carpet but was good on hard floors. Has anyone else had experience using this on carpet? That is mostly what I need it for.

    • Needs a little more muscle on carpets but does the job, maybe they were comparing to one with a motorised head.

    • It is very good on hardfloors (that's why I bought it), but is also quite good on the carpet mat, too.

  • +1

got one with free shipping in WA. they are $429 ay JB Hifi! I wish I made that kind of profit

  • So everyone is happy with their Morphy Richard's vacuum? What stopped me from buying last deal was the (non-Ozbargain) feedback that the suction was on the weak-side. Does it suck?

    • +4

      it certainly sucks.

    • +1

Bought one last time and find it very good, clean so much better than a 2400W vacuum cleaner bought from Godfrey despite its motor is only 1200W

  • +1

Another one bites the dust!! Just hope it works good so I can justify it with the lady, alone with all the other pile of stuff I bought online lately….

  • Got one too. Need a vacuum quickly and TheHut decided to cancel my order of the Hetty.

  • -6

    is it "Made In China"?

  • Bought one. Time to retire 9 year old Philips. Thanks OP.

  • Deals Direct still selling this Vaccum for $399 and almost sold out…SOME PEEPS OVERPAID

This is a great vac, I bought it last time when it was on sale, haven't touched my Dyson since.

    BUY IT!!!

Received the building contract today. Time to prepare and buy a Vaccum

    • +1

Haha, me too. My house doesn't start getting built until August, and I did the same.

      • -1

Good to hear :) Where are u building? I am in WA building with Aveling in WhitemanEdge

  • Decent Vacuum ,
not as good for carpets (Mainly because the front does not have any bristles)

but pretty good value in general, I too bought last time,
Delivered as promised, You select a delivery date when you go through the order process.

    • +3

Please note when you select a delivery day, they ring you in the morning, & give you a 2 hour window for delivery (eg. 11am-1pm). You need to be home to sign (with photo ID) when they deliver. I'm happy with mine.

      • yeah I had a back and forth with him over email, since I was not going to be home.

So they agreed to instruct the driver to deliver to whoever was home,

  • Bought one! Hope it's good. Not exactly sure if it's not good for carpets..let's see.

  • +1

  • I got mine, delivery on Wednesday. Whopping reduction!

  • BAM got one too :) free shipping and the delivery is delivered via their in only 2 days from order date :)

  • Great impulse buying!! Ordered mine for delivery on Wed.
We have an old hoover harmony, and the cost of getting bags to last two years would be as much as this baby costs. Hopefully, the suction is good enough. Not too many reviews out there!

    • +1

and of course thanks OP. not "lousy" at all

  • BANG got one!
No more pinching the folks… Thanks op.

  • Thanks OP, just what I needed.

  • thanks op. got new vacuum, now i just need to find a new apartment.

  • can anyone who has one let me know how effective is it with pet hair?

    • Get one with the motorised head.

  • Hope it's better than the Hoover I got from Godfrey's….I am pretty happy with it.

  • Good deal, much appreciated OP. Bought one to replace my 5 year old Miele (lowest one in their range). Will be pleased if it can match the Miele on hard floors.

  • Getting mine delivered today! Cant wait!

  • Ordered Yesterday. Delivered Today in WA. Awesome

  • Love love love this vac!!! Mind you i havent got a dyson so can only compare it to the godfreys ivac. This is totally da bomb! Picks up hair from rugs and so much more quiet!!!

Its a bit heavy though especially the wand as its made with steel but great manoeuvrability.

Awesome value! And appliances online was hassle free

  • Got mine today and very happy with it. Works fine on carpet for me though I guess a Dyson or similar would work better but my needs aren't much for carpets as they are the rarely used areas of the house.

  • "One or more of your products can't be purchased. As it is out of stock and a run-out model. Please review your cart."

  • +1

just received it today! more than happy. well well well worth 79 dollars!

  • Received 2 days after purchase. Delivery prompt and thf driver called before arrival to ensure you are st home. quality is well and the Vaccum power is strong compare to all my previous ones. body itself is a bit heavy but with four wheels underneath make it move so smoothly on tiles and wooden floor. and the handle is light. it is a good balance to hold it around . quiet and not noisy .
5 star out of 5 with this price . highly recommended.

  • got delivered today
    tried it out on carpet..
not as effective on pet hair as the 9yr old powerhead Wertheim I got from godfreys (but that was almost 1k back then) but it sucks quite well. its much quieter than the Wertheim. doubt anything can beat this thing at $79

decent build quality, does not feel like those cheap flimsy bagless they sell at kmart or target at this price

    happy with buy

  • -1

Decent. Bit of an awkward design. A tad large a tad heavy. Sucks well. Will get used to it. I'd be ticked off if I paid $400 for it, that's for sure.

  • Mine arrived today too. Well done appliancesonline.com.au

  • +1

Just got mine today, tried it out right away and i think its on the same level with my dc25.
Was about to buy a couple more for friends n families but sold out in VIC already, oh well maybe next time.
P.s: Very good service from applianceonline, will buy from them again for sure

  • I got mine yesterday. I appreciate their 2 calls before delivery. The box was clearly opened and resealed with sellotape which makes me wonder. But I've very happy with it, low noise considering the power

    • I have bought 2 items from appliancesonline, they have both been opened and resealed… Manuals and things all crinkled, it's a bit suspect isn't it? Not what you would expect if you had paid retail prices

  • Got mine. Nice build quality and design. Performs well. Very quiet for a vacuum cleaner.

Might be a bit too big and heavy for some people though.

  • Got mine today and so happy, thanks OP and appliances online!

Bargain of the month for me

  • This is now sold out.

  • best vacuum for the price. powerful, quiet and cool. happy i got it. what a steal.
