  • Total Power RMS @ 30% THD: 40 W; I dunno much about audio.. but that looks like a heap of distortion.

  • Got the one with the sub when posted, great little speaker for the price, love it for the kitchen & bedroom tv, would get another without hesitation if could afford!

  • Mate ordered the slightly more expensive one (with sub) but a week later was told it was on back order.
This one has digital input which is important to him as his TV doesn't have an earphone socket. Specs are pretty ordinary but practically anything is better than a cheap TV's internal speakers.

  • Leonard, are you confirming this one has digital input ? I can't see it in the specs. I think I need that too.

  • Has optical in (digital)
    Specs:

My tv only had optical out no headphone jack which it's why I was looking for speakers with optical in

  • Thanks, but no go for me as the wife has neg'd it. She's the main bedroom tv watcher anyway (the lounge room TV is connected to an amp anyway). Saves me a bit of work - wall mounting it below the tv and chasing the cables into the wall - and programming the Logitech Harmony.

  • Looks-wise, these Philips sound bars are pretty unimpressive compared to others.
