i've always thought that the ones that attached to the windshield were a bit far to reach. was that the case? or was it alright
been looking for one that attaches to the airvent, cause it might be easiar to use (distance wise).
Really depends on your car. I have two cars: one a cheapie, the other not-so-cheap. The dash is quite deep on the not-so-cheap car, so this and other windscreen mounts such as the Garmin are indeed really far away from you and you have to really reach in to fiddle with the devices attached to them. In the cheapie, though, the dash is quite shallow and so the windscreen is a lot closer, thus devices are easier to reach.
I was able to position mime exactly where I wanted it without too much trouble, easy to reach and view while driving/navigating … it just broke (after about 6 months).
Yep, I bought two the last time they popped up on here. Both broke within weeks of installing them. I won't be buying them again… just too flimsy, even for $2.22 each.
Would it be like the same credit crap box quality…nah to tmart..
The really cheap ones are not worth the hassle, the ball joint gets very loose after a week or so and becomes us less
Had one. Useless. Couldn't get it to stick to the windscreen.
I had one of these, worked well … until it snapped off at the ball joint during a trip on Queens Birhday weekend, so thanks for reminding me to buy another one
