"Instant heat technology – heat up in minutes" how exactly is that instant?

Good question! I have been eating instant noodle all those years and never thought about that lol

Yeah Good Question sk3iron. From our own experience it will heat up in a few minutes which is very quick. I think that is what our supplier want to describe when they provide this description to us.

How long do heated throws usually take to heat up? An hour?

FYI, for anyone who wants a brand name and larger version, the following Sunbeam SUPERSIZE 1700 x 1900mm Heated Electric Throw BL3251 $69 at Bing Lee is still available:

There are LOTS of complaints about Sunbeam's electric throw though. I think I'd rather this no-name brand.

  • 160cm not long enough for me. You cant stretch out on the couch, wrap it around your feet, and pull it up to your chin….there just aint enough material….it just reaches to nipple height if you are lucky…if you pull it up to chin height your feet get all cold! There is such an art to these blankies….

    • Thanks for the negs you guys. I'll refrain from telling you about my PERSONAL experience with this size blanket from now on. I find it annoyingly short. Its just me. I'm tall. I'm sorry.

      • I think you annoyed the rep by criticising his crappy product

  • I have this exact model and it's great!
I get home from night shift and it's long enough when sitting in a recliner with feet up.
The timer and adjustable heat is a top idea too.

It's been a cold winter in Brissie. I bought $20 throws for each fam member from Reject Shop, Kensington brand. Super warm, generous in length, width and nice looking plush blanket no ugly cords. Should be enough for southern winters.
