i found the Canon 1100D on sales and extra 30% is looking good..
    any comment ??

    •

I looked at that too. It's only 12 megapixel. Maybe someone with camera knowledge can give an indication whether the lenses are worth the price it comes down to $389. Could be added onto a better body at a later date?

i just wanted an entry level slr.. im biting the bullet and make the purchase..

        •

          lucky you. just missed out

It's an easy decision to make once it's sold out. Moving on….

Entry level, but a great price for the 2 lenses included. Closest best value is $580 inc postage on Kogan for a grey-market import. So, $390 with free post is a great price. Slightly cheaper when factoring Myerone points.

I thought Ozbargainers would be onto this deal — so lucky I dived in early!

        •

I think everyone was too busy buying up on deals direct …

        •

It seems to be back in stock if you're still interested.

      •

Megapixels aren't an accurate indicator of how good the camera is. Companies are putting out high megapixels as an easy marketing strategy for people to understand. Sensor size is much more important as well as pixel size (not amount of pixels).

I could have gotten the Fuji X100 for $474 if it was still in stock. Sigh.

The Fuji x100 for under $500 would have been an absolute steal. I own it, and I love it to death, but I paid twice that amount for it.

the website provides a crappy experience. Now i understand why sales are so bad for them

    •

I dont have any issues at all using the website. The graphics are great and look better than most of ecommerce sites.
Not surw why you have such negative experience….
