I checked out my Rays store today. They had some of the OEX jackets still from yesterdays deal (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/109175) but the Merrell clearance jackets for $36.46 appealed to me much more.

Higher price, but a name brand and the one i got was rated higher at 10,000 mm. Original price of $249 for the one I chose and is believable for Merrell but too much for what you get. At $36.46 is was a better bargain to me than the OEX jackets.

membership is free to get the VIP pricing. Plenty available in my store. Can order online to collect in store. For delivery i assume the recommendations from yesterdays post apply to get the best deal on courier delivery.

Several different colours available in the jacket I chose. They also have some ladies jackets and another mens style at the same price.

      I was at Nunawading (VIC) but I suggest you check availability in online checkout - select pickup, enter you location and it shows availability at closest stores.

    Bought all 4 for myself and the wife.
    Shipping showed up as $40, I then deleted two jackets, re added them and then showed up as around $11 for courier.

    Shipping is $9.80

    Add more than one item to the cart until you get couriers please option for shipping (you may need to keep adding items until it appears), then remove the items you dont want and the shipping will go down to $9.80

    Just tested for postcode 2200

    Also $299 @ the NZ store

    I was happy to pickup the Vader Jacket, looks more stylish than this but still hasn't been dispatched, some orders being cancelled from previous deal i posted yesterday.
    So ill keep my +ve vote until they dispatch mine

      Some stores were not actually NOT putting stock away for people whom bought the jackets online, they just left some of them on the rack. Vader jacket was actually really cool, someone offered to pay me 60 dollars for one of them when i was in the store to pick up my order. The Merrell one didn't look as good.

      Also, i think for the fabric and coating they used, anything more 100 dollars+ is a rip off. There is absolutely no insulation within the jacket (since it is a rain jacket).

    Man, their checkout system is slow, must be under the pump.
    Could only pickup one of the jackets I wanted at my local store, so opted for delivery.
    Took a bit of adding and removing of items to get Couriers Please option, and a few times after
    deleting out the extra items I added to get it, it'd revert back to the $40.
    Ended up costing $12.72 delivered via Couriers Please to 3550, for 2 jackets.

      It is a rain jacket, so there is no insulation layer, it is thin and so it won't keep you warm. Quality is okay.

    Merrell logo on the arm is billboard-ish and off-putting (brand is already very visible on the front, which is bad enough to me). I hate advertising on my clothes.

    Not enough pockets for my liking either. The cheap 'vader' jacket I picked up has 3 useful pockets. This may be higher quality though, I have to check it out.

    Merrell Lenticular seems to have no branding on the arm, but then I click on the blue one and see it:

    Seems like a simple rain jacket, but good value compared to normal (overpriced?) Merrell pricing, in any case.

    Got an email today stating they had no stock left so can't fill my order, so getting a refund & they gave me a $20 coupon code for next time I buy something.
