where is the best deal for PS+ subscription? do they do $1 month promotions like xbox 360? i'm a noob to PS+

also remember as soon as you run out of PS+ you can no longer play that game or any free games you get with PS+. It just like renting…

Take the extra money you saved and get a PS+ subscription which includes Battlefield 3 plus some other decent games. Every month you get new games to play plus the existing back catalog from when your subscription starts.
Just another option but do make sure you lock in a copy of Last of Us somewhere along the way.
