Sigma Lens Sale at CamerasDirect.com.au. E.g. 17-50mm F2.8 $526 (with code) Plus Del $18

These guys are doing a 3 day 'price massacre' on Sigma lenses.
Plenty are discounted but I can confirm the lens I've been wanting (17-50mm F2.8) is the best I've ever seen it, plus it's local stock and comes with 2yr CR Kennedy warranty. Best from Hong Kong is $580 but it's often nearer $650 and $750 at Teds Cameras.

Using above code gets $10 off so brings it to $526. Deliver is about $18 or you can pick up from near Harbour Town on the Gold Coast, QLD.

35mm f/1.4 is $777 ($767 with code) http://www.camerasdirect.com.au/sigma-35mm-f-1-4-dg-hsm-a1-l…

They seem to be cheaper than this earlier post http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/106014

good option if you dont wanna pay for the sigma (and to be frank, the difference is specious)

    $699 for the 18-35 f1.8

  • 35mm f1.4 I guess it's pretty cheap at $777

Shame the prices on their cameras aren't so hot :/

(I swear I'll buy a camera soon and stop haunting each and every one of these camera threads!)

  • How is their "2 Year CR Kennedy Warranty" like?

  • CR Kennedy is the official importer of Sigma lenses. Good to see camerasdirect buying from Australia now that the dollar has crashed! The 5D mark III they are selling is about $400 above local stock!

  • This massacre is more like a cut you get while shaving.

  • Good price on the Sigma. This is the same price I bought my Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 non-VC about 5yrs back. According to photozone.de, the Tamron is sharper corner to corner throughout the whole focal range and at max aperture (and I can vouch for that), but the Sigma does come with OS and better AF.

  • The 18-35mm f1.8 has been on 'sale' for 699 for the past month or so on this site, so their normal price in other words.

  • $399 for Sigma F4 10-20mm pretty good price right? I checked Ted, D-D, Photo Continental and they are all around $499 range.

  • They must have realised all their silly tv ads aren't paying off with no realistic sale. I still don't think their prices are that competitive.

  • Ended up snaping on the 18-35.. Been eyeing this one off for a while, and hey who can complain about an extra 10 bucks off eh :) Thnx for the heads up.
