Webjet - $40 off Hotel Bookings Over $250 or $50 off Hotel Bookings Over $300

THANKYOUSAVE50

Found these promo codes for Webjet hotel bookings from a simple Google search.

Similar to previous codes but slightly better off for bookings over $250 and under $300.

Warning: I had an issue using THANKYOU for a hotel booking while paying with PayPal last week. The promo code was applied, and the price was correctly reduced by $40 on webjet, and was even correctly displayed on the PayPal payment page. However, after paying by PayPal, the PayPal receipt was for the non-reduced amount. I had to ring webjet customer service and they refunded $40 into my Paypal account after verifying the promo code. So proceed with caution and check your receipt!

With a $40-50 discount, webjet would be almost as cheap as using just about any other booking site.

    • It's always a good idea to shop around if you know the hotel that you want to book. I was surprised that webjet had the cheapest prices for a few Melb CBD apartments I was looking at even before the promo code was applied.

Webjet STINKS. I made a booking this morning in Hotelclub.com and paid under $250, the same booking for the same dates for the same hotel om Webjet right now is $408. Oh and its comes down to $358 after my $50 webjet "discount". Meh, they are a total rip on hotels, and rubbish for airfares also after you factor in their fees. Why anybody would use webjet is beyond me. If anyone is interested in a more genuine discount on hotels try this link. http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/110281 If anyone has anything better Im happy to know

Yep. Webjet charge a $30(ish) fee for using their service to book flights now! (in addition to all the other crappy fees)

I now use their search to compare flights then go directly to the airline and book through them.

  • agree webjet seldom offers the best price.
previous codes for more-or-less same discounts from previous deal here:

having said that I recently used the MFC50 code on just over $300 of accom. After $50 off it was still $10 higher than Hotelclub with 12% discount, but webjet allows use of Amex points at rate (for me) of $1 per 100 points. Cash value of my points (ie. Coles card) is $1 = 135pts.
Therefore using Amex points for travel is by far the most efficient way of using them. (for me. YMMV)

Yeah saw that, but posted anyway because the THANKYOU code is better for bookings between $200 and $300, compared to MELBOURNEFC ($30 off).

  • I refuse to deal with WebJet anymore, I found the hard way, that when you book something, and pay your money, it doesn't actually mean it is confirmed, they can still come back to you a week later and tell you that the room you booked is unavailable. Pretty inconvenient when it is just after every other room in the hotel has been booked out..

    • thanks for letting me know, that is a joke and would urk me to no end if it happened to me. i might neg a deal for once

  • Terms and Conditions state the ThankYou code is for bookings over $250, not $200.

    1. Visit Webjet Hotels and select the hotel you'd like to stay at (code valid for hotel only bookings)
    2. Enter THANKYOU in the coupon code field on the payment page
    3. We'll give you $40* towards your hotel booking (a minimum spend of $250 applies)
Take advantage of this offer if you book before 11:59pm AEST 30 September 2013.
