Where has it been $330 shipped?
Think you may be confussed with the white/silver versions. The black has never been less then about $370 for aussie stock and that was a limited offer.
I think the shipping kills this.
You can get a GoPro black from JB for $399 cash if you bargain them, so I would rather buy aussie stock if its the same price. Receipts have been posted previously for this price.
edit: Also beware of the Kogan GoPro accessories, most of them are "compatible" accessories. You may want them, you may not.

Also I don't know if this apply with Hero 3, but if you get them outside of USA, they don't come with a serial number. I bought a Hero 2 from DWI and mine never came with a serial number making it useless for me to put it in my work insurance.

Yup. They should. But Kogan, DWI and other grey importers they get their products from Asia. That's why my Hero 2 didn't have a serial number.

Has the firmware issues on the GP3 been solved? I looked at getting one a while ago but was put off by the massive amount of negative comments on Amazon etc
I believe most have been resolved as there hasn't been any further neg comments re the problems (mainly the 64gb card and shut downs….)
