GoPro HERO3 Black Edition - $369 ($398 Shipped) @ Kogan

40

Not as good as last time ($349), but given the dollar at the moment this seems like a good deal if you are after the HERO3 Black.

You can get Aussie stock for $330 shipped if you hang around for sales!

    • Where has it been $330 shipped?

    • Think you may be confussed with the white/silver versions. The black has never been less then about $370 for aussie stock and that was a limited offer.

I think the shipping kills this.

You can get a GoPro black from JB for $399 cash if you bargain them, so I would rather buy aussie stock if its the same price. Receipts have been posted previously for this price.

edit: Also beware of the Kogan GoPro accessories, most of them are "compatible" accessories. You may want them, you may not.

Do you have a copy of a receipt I can use to price match?

      • This was uploaded by an OzBargainer on a similar deal previously but I can't find the original post to credit them.

  • Also I don't know if this apply with Hero 3, but if you get them outside of USA, they don't come with a serial number. I bought a Hero 2 from DWI and mine never came with a serial number making it useless for me to put it in my work insurance.

    • I have a Hero 3 Black (aussie stock from JB HiFi) and it has a serial number.

      • Yup. They should. But Kogan, DWI and other grey importers they get their products from Asia. That's why my Hero 2 didn't have a serial number.

  • Neg because its gussy… :P

  • Available through Union Shopper, if you are a member, pickup only, for $379. Assume it's Aussie stock. (While stocks last)

    • Link pls? I tried to see if Ii could find it generically via union shopper, but nothing.

      • Can't provide link as you need to sign in to see it. Find it under tab 'special offers' then hot buys.

        • That's not much use if it's members only. =(
(And by members I mean union, not "register and be a member.")

        • That's too bad then. I posted it in case there were ( Union ) members perusing this thread. If you're not, then bad luck. If you want me to buy you one, then get in touch.

Has the firmware issues on the GP3 been solved? I looked at getting one a while ago but was put off by the massive amount of negative comments on Amazon etc

    • I believe most have been resolved as there hasn't been any further neg comments re the problems (mainly the 64gb card and shut downs….)
