  • So thats 18 bottles for $68 —> less than $4 a bottle. not bad.

  • Anyone dealt with ACG before?

What are the wines like? Even tho it's only $3.80 a bottle I don't want it to taste like a $3.80 bottle!

    • I've tried the King Valley Sav Blanc which was ok. Definitely, do not expect a NZ quality but easily drinkable all the same. I bought a case of the limestone Coast Shiraz Merlot Cabernet which turned out to be a pleasant surprise for the price. A solid red which is very drinkable. If I wasn't stocked to the rafters, I'd buy more.

      • I bought a case last week. Very drinkable, smooth, but seems a bit weak on the palate/not rich enough.

    • I haven't heard of them until I started getting emails from them recently - I wonder if they are related to one of the other wine companies - it is strange they would have my email…

      • That's concerning that they're cold emailing without permission.

  • +1

Really depends on your palette wether this is a deal or not. Could probably work out well as a white wine Sangria….

Or am I dreaming of warmer weathers?

  • Pity its not available in store to avoid delivery cost

  • Only whites available for the bonus dozen? I'm out. Loving the King Valley Cab Sav though. Already into my 3rd bottle!

  • Re quality —- I have been very happy with the reds to date - have not tasted the whites. The Limestone Coast reds have all been way above average for the price point. Maybe Rep could give us a hint on which Limestone Coast winery makes the wines? My guess is Lindemans as its the only Halliday 5-star winery I know that makes reasonable quantities from this region - but I could be wrong, I guess. Any hints, Rep?

    • Just google the tasting notes, variety and region. Never fails. One gripe I have with ACG is their lack of info on the vintages - i.e. it seems sometimes you get top notch wines from top notch wineries in a particularly bad vintage, so it's hard to know if it'll be any good.

Still, when you're paying less than $10 a bottle and it is definitely drinkable, hard to go too wrong.

  • I just bought another deal. It's too good to pass up

  • Helpful staff unfortunately were out of stock.

    Fantastic service on the phone.
