Hey guys

I'm looking for an iPad. Basically just something to browse the web and watch some youtube vids on. My father-in-law has an original iPad and I'm quite happy with its performance.

Does anywhere still sell new iPad 1's??

    No, not anymore, try gumtree or ebay, you will probably be able to find one for around $150

    eBay — I can see people paying between $130~150 for iPads (some faulty, some with issues). I can't comprehend why anybody would've paid $172 for one that doesn't power on….

    You could also try Cash converters.. just be prepared to pay a ripoff price.

    A base model iPad 1 wouldn't be worth much anymore. Best bet is the secondhand market, from someone upgrading. Personally I would go with an iPad 2 for a little more $. Lighter and faster.

      Yea ipad2 is probably worth the extra few bucks just for the processing speed.
