I was looking for an 3rd gen i5 laptop and found that most of them are around $600 mark.
This one caught my eyes when it shows up as under $500.

    DS don't list the full model number nor do they publish many specs. I can see OW getting out from this price match quite easily.

      You're right - at my Officeworks store, the manager is refusing to price match DS as they claim they are in liquidation.

      i3 laptop needs to be under $400 to be attractive.
      The above mentioned one is close to $400 after cashback (take forever and still a little bit over $400 at the end)

    This is an awesome laptop for the money. Its got a touch screen and backlit keyboard & i think an ACER mailin CASHBACK rebate you might want to look into as well

      Sorry to disappoint anyone who thinks that there is touch screen or cashback.
      There is no touch screen - there is no "P" after 571 in the model number.
      There is no cashback - I have gone through Acer's cashback website before submitting this deal and could not find it listed.

    Out of stock now. It shows up as available for Home Delivery but when you add it to the cart it goes into the "click & collect" side of things. Confirmed out of stock with DSE call centre
