They technically should only be selling these at .49c with any script filled from dates 18th July to 29th of July. This isn't the standard to be selling them individually so don't expect it at other stores and is completely at stores discretion. Note, these will most likely only be available at pharmacy stores too.

    • It's Pharmacy medicine and it's not Prescription medicine which you need a script from a doctor for so you've got it mixed up. All these are is paracetamol 500mg tablets which you can buy over the supermarket counter in any Panadol or other paracetamol tablet pack. No script needed to buy these like any other Pharmacy medicine.

And yes it will probably be only sold at the Priceline Pharmacy stores.

      • slight confusion it seems - catalogue special is panamax for 49c only if you also buy a prescription item

Yeah i can't see a script needed to buy Panamax. It's only Paracetamol tablets. I've never heard of a script needed to buy any sort of Pharmacy medicine. Although you need a script filled out for Prescription medicine for sure. So that's why you need a script it's because of having to also buy a Prescription medicine with the same order to get the 49c price from this Panamax not that the Pharmacy medicine itself requires a script.

You's made it sound like you needed a script filled out by a doctor for Panamax which was confusing.

        • So that's why you need a script it's because of having to also buy a Prescription medicine with the same order to get the 49c price from this Panamax

          correct :)

  • Kiz is correct. My local Priceline is selling them for 49c ONLY if you get another script filled out at the store. Hollykryten, you don't need a script for them, but you need to get another script filled out in store to get the 49c deal. The OP's deal is probably store specific as it doesn't have the other-script purchase requirement. Make sense?

  • Hi, do you know the address? There are many Priceline branches in Melbourne city. Thank you.

I prefer Panadol, the placebo effect works best when you pay full price.

I thought Panasonic has a new tablet.

  • Unless you are buying these in large quantities then this deal is not worth the effort unless Priceline is nearby and you need a prescription filled. My local pharmacy has them for $1.99 with no restrictions and they can be bought even cheaper in the Chemist Warehouse. Continued and heavy usage of these items (paracetamol) can be dangerous to your liver. Since you only have one of these then this consumption may be life threatening. Read the instructions carefully.

  • Judging from the title I thought I get 49 cents from the store for every free Paramax tablet LOL

  • OP here, I bought these straight off the shelf, no questions asked. So no script required. There was no signage to suggest a script need to be filled out so just buy them!

    • So no script required to buy these for 49c each price unlike what some people here have been claiming. All it is just a sale price on these tablets just like other Pharmacies have sale prices on their pharmacy medicines like antihistamines etc (Chemist Warehouse comes to mind).

Of course if you're going to be throwing in a prescription item along when you're also buying these Panamax tablet you're going to be needing a script filled out for that prescription item. But you don't need a script just to buy what is just Paracetamol tablets on its own. It's like der.

      • Yep. Sorry it sounded like you needed a script to buy paracetamol. I meant you didn't need to have a script filled it (For something under prescription) to take advantage of the offer.
Just buy them off the shelf without any other purchase.

        • Just like you buy paracetamol tablets off the shelf from supermarkets. Same difference. Nice deal for 49c.
