  • Any Recommendations?

    • My favorite that I've had is their Barossa Valley Shiraz. But I've tried a few of the King Valley wines and they're pretty nice too. What do you like drinking more? Reds or whites?

      • Not sure, i'm still trying to find my sweet spot. I normally end up with reds to drink while eating.

  • Shipping is $8 per case. Even including shipping there are choices well below $5 per bottle.

  • Whilst I agree it looks a reasonable deal I'd greatly welcome feedback from others on whats actually good - lord knows many wine purveyors tend to extoll praise on wines that would be better off used to dress one's salad.

Anyone tried these guys wines and been impressed? Or otherwise as well? Thanks in advance.

PS. Based on these guys rash of recent 'deals' ~50% off their RRP's (they seriously sell at these levels in their bricks & mortar retail outlets?) seems to be quite the norm. Seems a tad odd.

  • I've been super impressed with everything I've got from them, and I've really just been grabbing whatever is going cheap! Biggest problem has been some sediment at the bottom of some of the reds, but the wine is lovely.

  • Super impressed? Big praise indeed.

You must be luckier than myself as I've been burnt quite a few times by the many online wine purveyors clearing out a cancelled export order etc etc - which despite it's claimed RRP of many dollars ended up being very, very mediocre.

A few hits…yes, but gawd the ones you miss on sit around in your cellar and make you wince when you think of having to drink them.

I'll grab a few dozen - obviously everyone's tastes vary but what specifically did you order and enjoy?

  • They still don't deliver to the NT, does anyone know why? Same as Dan Murphey.

    • -1

if you lived in the NT you would know why…..

      • -1

I do live in the NT and I don't know why.

        • +3

There are a number of federal and state government enforced "dry zones" in Qld and NT. These change occasionally and it's easier for them to simply not ship to NT, rather than not ship to the select dry zones.

          Damn, well thanks anyway.

  • How come you can't find any info or reviews on some of the wine they sell ?
I'm a big fan of dessert wine and am just looking at this one.

anyone have any comments on the dessert wine they sell ? =]
    Cheers

    • If you love your botrytis (botryti?) I would recommend contacting D'Arenburg, they had a lot of the noble rot last year and have come out with 6 varieties of botryti sticky's …

As for online wine sales, i've tried twice and been burnt both times … thankfully, i live in Adeliade and make trips to the wine regions every month or so and stock up!!

  • I ended up ordering 24 Bottles, first time dealing with acg wines. Waited 9 business days and checked my online order which was under processing. Turns out they had taken my money and processed the order but had sold out of 6 bottles of one of the wines that I ordered and didn't bother to notify me that they had sold out. Very very poor customer service as they didn't even trying to contact me until I emailed them.
Wont be buying from you guys ever.
