Can you resist the Lipton Pyramid Taste?

    Yes, I prefer Twinings…

    • +13

Dilmah for me. Ceylon Supreme. Try it one day.

      • +5

        I will.. thanks…

      • Hell yes!

      • +3

        do try it!

    • +1

cant resist something thats free but if I have to pay for it then yes

    • +4

i prefer loose leaves from asian stores.

      • +11

        I prefer Teh Tarik.

        • +4

          I prefer the bubble tea

        • I prefer loose leaf tea from t2tea.com but it's bloody expensive. Can anyone recommend some other online stores that sell high quality loose leaf tea? The stuff I've tried from the supermarket is pretty low quality.

        • +1

I got some tea from Manly Tea Company which was really good. They are only about 10% cheaper than T2 though unless you happen to live close to Manly and can get free delivery or pick up from the Manly markets.

        • -1

          That's not tea

        • I have a family member who works at the T2 factory warehouse, I get my tea from her for half price also with freebies

        • +1

Confirms my suspicion…. T2 is OK tea but hughly overpriced supported by effective marketing and gullable public.

        • Better than most. Not as good as Natures Cuppa which I think is the best Ceylon tea you can get at the supermarket. After that then Art of Tea is probably the nicest I've tasted but it's not so easy to find and pretty expensive.

        • Try Teasme.com.au
High quality product with the fancy schmancy marketing =)

      • i prefer loose leaves from asian stores.

        Which brand? Any recommendation?
I tried it last time and didn't like it.

This. Madura makes a nice leaf, their premium blend (which is primarily as Assam blend, close to Irish breakfast) is my go-to tea.

        • Love the Premium Blend, drink it at home, at work even keep some at my mums to ensure there's something drinkable.
          Partner drinks their English Breakfast.

I can't resist FREE Lipton Pyramid Taste that's for sure

    Be careful of pyramid schemes.

    • +5

      yes we get the point.

    • +4

I don't like the angle you are taking..

    • +3

      Game, Sɛt, match.

    • +2

      don't be so obtuse.

    • +1

      These puns are acutely lame!

    • +1

See, you really gotta realise, its not a pyramid scheme. Its network marketing. Its a pyramid but its not a pyramid scheme. Lets be brutally frank here, you and I, we're the early adopters, we move ahead of the pack. I recruit you, and you sit with me right at the top of the scheme, sorry the pyramid, its not a pyramid scheme, and all the people that come later make money for you and me. Now its rough on them, but tough titty, they should have signed on earlier like you and me. So what do you say?

      • +8

I tried to read your comment several times but I still can't make sense of it.. =/

  • +3

there should be plenty available to Ozbargain users.

    Is that a challenge?

    • Maybe it is…
Come on Ozbargain! How fast can we claim 35,000 free samples?

    • +6

      Challenge accepted.

    • Mine arrived overnight delivery. Quite surprised.

  • +1 for free things.

Will use the incoming flyer bomb as garden mulch.

    Thank you Lipton.

  • +4

I don't know about the 'normal' site, but on the mobile version one can't leave the "send me advertising spam" option unchecked.

Keep me updated with Lipton news and information
    "This field is required."

    • +1

Same. Doesn't really matter though if you don't put email/number. Unless they post these newsletters..

      • +2

        Snail Spam ?

    • Don't write your email address in.

      • Don't write your email address in.

I didn't. Nor did I enter my phone number in the form.

However, I still received the error message that the "Keep me updated with Lipton news and information" field was "required" to be 'checked'. So, I then had to agree to receive "news and information" from Lipton in order for my request for free samples to be accepted.

Therefore one must assume that Lipton will be posting "Lipton news and information" to ones street/mailing address.

  • Thanks Donga

    • Is Donga a jiggler or a dangler?

      • just a hanger

      • No idea what you mean. ;)
Just refers to my favourite Korean newspaper.

      • The angle of the dangle is directly proportional to the heat of the meat and the throb of the knob.

        • Not forgetting the rise and fall of the left ball.

      • Ding dong.

  • +1

    Thanks. Nice font.

  • as an avid OZbargainer, I just can't resist free goodies so I've claimed it! Don't put your real email and mobile unless you wanna get spammed!

  • +1

    Didnt get the last ones..

    • Neither did I

    • The last promo by IGA was limited to 3000 samples and more than 5000 people clicked through just from Ozbargain so there was always going to be some disappointment. This time there are 35,000 samples and it only started at 9am today so there should be a lot more people from Ozbargain receiving this one.

      • +2

I'm pretty sure I filled out the last offer pretty early. Let's reverse the question then. Who DID get their previous samples?
Although, since Lipton is running this deal themselves, they'll most likely send it out this time around.

        • I filled up an entry as soon as it was posted

Is the promoter the same ?

        • +1

The previous promo was run by IGA, had 3000 samples available and was running for an unspecified length of time before being posted on Ozbargain. This one is run by Lipton themselves, has 35,000 samples and only started at 9am this morning.

    • My samples only arrived on Friday. I was thinking 'DUPE!' but then realised it was an IGA promotion, not a Lipton promotion before.

    • received the last one yesterday, great selection. happy to receive more.

  • +1

are these bags imported from Egypt?

  • I received mine couple of days ago from the last one I filled out. They are amazing. Love the fruit flavour one. it's divine

  • +4

Im signing up to all this free stuff because I'm moving out in a month and find it funny the new tenant will think I get alot of mail haha

    • +4

Save yourself the trouble and redirect your mail.

Or, why don't you sign up as "Gift-for The-new-Tenant"

  • LOADING….

    • +1

I had the same problem when I opened it with Internet explorer. try Mozila and it will work with that browser.

      • Cheers!

    • you need to let javacript from cloudfare.com load

  • Always love lipton tea.. Thanks OP

  • thanks!

  • +2

Just a heads up! You don't have to fill in your email or contact number - just leave them blank and spare yourself from future spams!

I did not fill these areas.

    • As mentioned in the description, that IGA deal was limited and is over.

      • never received them though, did anyone else get theirs?

        • I ordered them for two different addresses last time - one came, one didn't

  • Thanks got these last time, why not get more…

  • Anyone put fake names for this? Don't really want my real name to be on their database

    • +5

always. i usually add the company name as part of the surname so i can easily identify the source if i start receiving mail, spam etc

i did nearly get caught out once when i had to go to the post office to pick up a sample parcel for a stranger from the post office

  • Thanks OP!

  • Won't load useing Internet Explorer. I have no other option. Too bad.

  • Signed up for this freebie Sunday morning and delivered Monday morning. That's got to be some kind of record.

    • i'm guessing you signed up for the iga promo as well

      • Yes you're right. Forgot about that one.

Next day delivery freebie would have been extras sweet, oh well.

  • Ok Ozbargainers, you've had 24 hours to claim this.

Now im going to go nuts haha!

  • thank you

  • -3

Wtf… the spam option is required to get the sample. pass

    • +2

C'mon buddy, use some common sense. Just don't fill in your email/number - they were optional to fill in.

    • not having a separate e-mail address for freebies.

And you call your self a professional >:(

  • Yippee - although we're in Perth & often miss these freebies because of the delay in hearing about them ( & not always checking emails )I have just been on the site & was still able to get the t-bags. Thanks fellow OZB's
    P.S. What IGA promo?
